I've been working hard on a new skin for Pure Warfare for quite some time. I've attempted a couple of designs to get the feel of the forums right but they just didn't work the way I wanted them to. Now after a bit of trial and error I've managed to come up with a "house style" skin. A "house style" is basically a preferred manner of presentation, meaning consistency. Our homepage and forums now have a default style which matches. This has been our aim for quite some time and I think with this skin we've finally achieved that look.

Unfortunately account hijacking or (hacking to some people who don't know the real term) is rife within the RuneScape community. Don't think a close knit community like ours is any better. There are always people who want to steal accounts, mainly for their items, etc.

There are several ways people do this and I'm going to let everyone know how, so you can protect yourselves.

I've changed the way the "My Assistant" section works for all skins to make it a bit more useful for you.

When clicking it you will now see a new section in the information tab called "Since your last visit".

This has been designed to show you how many new posts there have been since you last visited the forums, but also how many of those posts were in a topic which you have started. They also both link to a search result to show you which are new, I'll link the searches below just for future reference.

Today I've done a few changes to the boards to hopefully make them more enjoyable and easier to use for you guys.

Below is a change log describing each of the edits I've done.

• Emoticon box has been fixed to remove scrollbars.
• Emoticons are now allowed in signatures.
• Rank colours are now shown in the "Today's Birthdays" section.
• Added rank colours more globally in the messenger system.
• Links containing gif,jpeg,jpg,png have [IMG] tags automatically inserted.
• Signatures are now at the bottom of a post, rather than leaving a large gap.

Just to let you guys know. There was an unplanned outage within the datacenter which we are located in, where the power went off and the backup generator did not transfer power to keep the servers online properly. Thus we went offline for a while, I'm not sure how long it was for as I was away from home.

Apologies for the delay on releasing the results, the votes for the 2011 clan awards have been counted and verified, I will not go into too much detail but I would like to thank Jay for his scripting capabilities which made counting the votes that so much easier.
