Description:

Tai Bwo Wannai is a city of friendly villagers on the island of Karamja. In fact the term "bwana" means friend in their language. Because gold is so popular in the area, they don't find it nearly as valuable as the rest of RS. Therefore they use trading sticks as currency, as they feel certain trees are much more valuable. To access the entire city, you must complete the Jungle Potion quest.

How to get there:

Amulet of Glory: North karamja teleport + walking

Brimhaven House teleport: If your house is in Brimhaven this is the best teleport.

Reasons to Visit:

Hardwood Grove: To get inside it costs 100 trading sticks, and you can stay in there as long as you want. This is by far the best woodcutting spot from level 45-75, as long as your cutting Teaks.. This place blows willows away, this place blows anything away. The only downside is that you have to "powerwoodcut".

Nature Altar: This is an interesting alternative to the abyss if you want to craft natures. If you bring a large amount of noted rune essence (suggested at least 1k+) you can sell some of it to the general store and then buy it back unnoted. The general store essentially acts as a bank with a small fee. It may not be better than the abyss and with summoning it's been proven even worse but it is an option.

Tribal Statue: This statue recharges your prayer.

History:

This city was introduced with the Jungle Potion quest. The only major update was when farming was released, and the only calquat tree patch was put inside Tai Bwo Wannai.

Quests unlocked in City:

Jungle Potion

Tai Bwo Wannai Trio

Pure Perspective:

This place is almost criminally underutilized if your a pure who woodcuts. I mean this city has the BEST mid-level woodcutting spot in all of RS yet almost no one knows about this. Plus this place has a pure-friendly alternative to nature crafting.
