Gu'Tanoth is the Ogre City of RS. You need to progress pretty far into Watchtower Quest to access the city. It can be a dangerous city to any human, and there isn't a lot of reason to access the city besides the Ogre Enclave.

Summoning Obelisk: Summoning revolves around the obelisks, and therefore this is a fantastic place to train.

Bogrog: Bogrog will swap out pouches for spirit shards at a rate of 70%.

Ogre Enclave: This place has loads of Blue Dragons and a few Greater Demons. If you want to kill Blue Dragons, this place is by far the best place to do so. Loads of spots and quick runs/loads can be done.

After the city was introduced through the Watchtower quest there was essentially no change or updates to the city. Then with Summoning update they put an obelisk inside the city, with a shop and Bogrog.

This place has very little resonance with players, let alone pures. Yet I think if used correctly this could be a great money maker for any person, especially a ranging pure. Blue dragons drop big bones and blue dragon hides, which are extremely valuable. Getting a load of these items doesn't take that long and you can make a great deal of money. This city could have potential for pures, but other than that there is no reason to go there.
