Description:

Draynor is a village in F2P area that is famous for its fantastic woodcutting (F2P) and great thieving (P2P). It is also famous just for its prime location. Situated between Port Sarim, Falador, and Lumbridge Draynor has fantastic strategic geography.

How to get there:

Amulet of Glory: One of the options is Draynor.

Reasons to Visit:

Woodcutting: For F2Pers, this is the woodcutting mecca. Loads of willows and oaks (especially willows) to cut, and they are situated right next to a bank. Unfortunately, it is also the most popular spot to cut willows so therefore there are pros and cons to this spot.

Thieving: For anyone who can thieve here this place is great. Pick pocketing Master Farmers (level 38) are great thieving and many people thieve here up to level 80. Pick pocketing master farmers will get you all seeds except for tree seeds.

Fishing: For low level fishers this place is quite popular in F2P. You can bait and net low level fish here, and because of the proximity to a bank it's quite useful. Another reason it's the most pouplar low level fishing spot is because of how close it is to Port Sarim, the place where you buy all of your fishing supplies.

Martin the Master Farmer: Not only does he start a few quests, but he is the man to see if you have 99 farming, as he will give you your farming cape.

History:

Draynor has some of the richest history in RS. Draynor has always been popular ever since the RS2 update, making F2P have other trees besides normals. Draynor also was the epicenter of attention before the farming update, because before the farming update Jagex released the Master Farmers to steal from. This created a mad rush to steal seeds and learn about the Farming skill. Also, before Master Farmers would have tree seeds to steal from them, now they do not have tree seeds in their pockets. Draynor has hosted the most holiday events (four from 2005-2008) out of any city.

Quests unlocked in City:

Ernest the Chicken: Go to Draynor Manor and speak to Veronica.

Animal Magnetism: Go to Draynor Manor and speak to Ava.

Fairy Tale Part I/Part II: Speak to Martin the Master Farmer.

Pure Perspective:

For pures this place has no direct relevance, but to any player in RS this place has a lot of importance. Great place for low level fishing, good woodcutting, good thieving, etc. Plus a lot of quests that are pure friendly are started in the area.
