Notes: -Prayers of the same type can’t be used together. Example: Superhuman strength and Ultimate Strength can’t be used together. -Smite, Redemption, Retribution, Protect from Melee, Protect from Missiles, and Protect from Magic can’t be used together.
2. To gain experience in Prayer with bones, you have 2 options. The only option in free to play is to bury the bones. This is the experience you will gain by burying the bones.

Alternatively, you can use the bones on an altar in a player owned house, if you are a member. This will generate more experience. To get even more experience, you can have up to 2 burners lit in the house. The chart below shows the amount of experience you will get in relationship to that of the experience you get when burying bones.

Jagex updated Prayer in late 2009 to bring Runescape Ancient Curses. You can get these by doing the quest, The Temple at Senntisten. However, one of the subquests, the Defender of Varrock, will reward you with 10,000 Defence experience. This is enough to give you level 27 Defence from level 1.

Some equipment gives Prayer bonus points. These slow the rate of which you lose Prayer points. Each point can be calculated by slowing your Prayer point’s loss by 3.33% (1/30). This means at 30 Prayer bonus points, your prayer will last twice as long.

Quick prayer is an option that allows you to use multiple prayers in one click. You can exercise this by right clicking the prayer icon in the top right of the Runescape page and selecting “Set quick prayers”. To use the quick prayers, simply left click on the same icon.
After completing the Ghosts Ahoy quest, you will be able to worship the Ectofuntus. This will grant 400% of a bones natural experience, but is extremely slow. You are better off using bones on an altar. |
