What are your predictions for pure clanning and 07Scape in general?

I pessimistically feel that after 2 - 4 months there will be a widespread decline in activity.

Hopefully I'm proved wrong.

RIP Runescape as we know it. I'm sure the pure community will rebuild itself somehow. Not from the old timers from clans such as EOP, FOE, FI, etc. I think MM (if they continue) will not only be the survivors of pures v1; but also the advocate pures v2.

There are many benefits that EOP had with defence, hope that was taken into account. Also wildy fights matched opts will come down to how much defence you have compared to the other as hp makes such a difference.

There are so many reasons people dont like the EOC, the fact that clans are now on private servers and having the sort of trips people remember and love from the BH era is good imo. Remember back in the BH era there were only a small number of worlds and a lot of clusters which people thoroughly enjoyed. Dont slag off our achievements and we wont do urs down ;P

Yeah well that's mms fault for being ignorant.

 

I'm not lowering my clans defence req because like the old days we're now wearing mith and not addy which mm was wearing before the update so there shouldn't be a problem. Eop is now a 1-34 def pure clan for the freedom ability and turmoil etc.

 

For mm to not raise def reqs would be dumb due to the fact that mith is now 30 def, and they used to bash on addy and not mith which they can now not wear!

 

We bashed on your addy because you were all 30+ def. If you were 40+ def we would have bashed on your rune instead. We all hated (and laughed at) the fact that the pure community totally lost sight of what pures were, and started training defense for defense bonuses (instead of focusing on how to preform better offensively)

 

That being said, I don't know what's going to happen with our defense requirement now that EOC is out.

m5 = crazy good jungler imo and genja tends to never feed either

fnatic = good overall i still dont think they are that good tho despite getting #2

WE = amazing mid and ad in particular

AF = havent paid attention to them much

NS = dont know them, who are they? i prob just dont recognize the shortening

clgeu = ****** top really, but froggen carried mostly. Snoopeh is chill aswell

Support - hmmmmm... some have extremely good synergy with their ad's such as Weixiao's supp, as well as Xpecial with chaox.

Aphromoo's style works in solo queue, but as seen in tournaments, it completely fails when everyone is taking **** seriously.

In my time of clanning, reflecting back, my top 5 leaders were:

1. Prateek - As someone mentioned before, he was an extremely talented "motivationalist". Best F2P Caller I've ever encountered, would always get us out of 1v2 and 1v3 situations, and then coordinate us all to turn on them and take them out one by one.

2. IVP - Despite the inactivity, she was given so much respect (well due) and always had a vision and mission statement for the clan. Great leader.

3. Myk - **** tank <3 but great with the politics, stable personality, activity and ****, in which I clearly lacked in.

4. Not Maf1a - ******* funniest, chill guy ever. Too bad I left him with a bad taste in my mouth :( - Although he couldn't lead for **** :(

5. Insignia staff - Hugh, Bert <3 etc.

lol...i had 7 defence levels by mistake on my main pure. then decided to get 10 because black (g) looks sxc...then when clan wars came out, the norm became 20 defence, and ultimately helped your clan at wars. (there was a time when i did not know that 20 defence was considered pure). and now the levels keep increasing, because jagex tricked most of you into getting even higher defence for turmoil or some ********, so now mains own.

 

getting defence sucked but it was necessary at the time, and seems like it still is. this game doesn't offer many choices when it comes to pure clanning...

RuneScape is **** in general.

I don't know how or why people still play the game.

JaGeX never cared (under the new management) for the community, it's all about money. Kids still getting sucked in. It's kind of sad really.

I signed up for the NME boards when the clan opened and lurked a bit but it just seemed a bunch of arrogant people ran the forums to the ground. After NME decided to go main I just laughed. Scott saying it would never happen, within 2 days of it happening.

 

NME could've been a lot more mature, especially with that 'bowlcut' crap. Put me off, and thats saying something because I chill on the MM forums every day watching Alex AKA God be a complete pillock.

Not sure wether to call this a GF or not, although I wasn't there but from my understanding and from what I've seen we peaked 17. And during the duration of the fight you kept running to depths of wildy where the majority of us were unable to attack.

You had 6 CP members sniping us in deep wild. You had 2 mains wearing rune at the mass but robes at the war with your cape and in your fall in. You had 20 in your fall in. I know because i scouted it. They weren't all in the friend's chat.

Seems like you're butthurt my friend.

Sad to see higher leveled clans in armor picking on lower leveled clans in robes.
