^yeh really a lot of my friends who started smokin up have moved onto harder **** like acid, meth, ex, etc. My mate and i actually went into the city to drop some acid the other night, which was quite an experience, but yeh. I think once people get over the whole 'drugs will kill you' theory, they're more likely to try other ****. Thats just my personal experience anyway.

yeh i agree with you guys, its a good thing but a bad thing at the same time, some people dont realize that it IS a gateway drug, since i started smoking weed, iv tried pretty much anything u can think of, pills, acid, meth all that ****, tbh im not sure what it should be, i would like to have it legal, but things could go wrong. so who knows.

It's not a gateway drug, you're just one of those people who will try anything you get your hands on. People like you would first start with what is most easily available, usually it's alcohol and tobacco (cannabis in some areas), then you progressively move towards harder substances. If cannabis didn't exist in the chain you would end up using the same stuff just the same, so it's ridiculous to argue that cannabis has some special "gateway attributes" that guide you towards other substances.

 

The plant itself is not in any way a gateway drug, if there is any reason to call cannabis use a gateway of a sort, it is because of its social status and the related drug culture.

You said what I wanted to say, but wasn't eloquent enough to express it.

 

I mean, we're all human. Addiction is something that gets stronger and stronger, and if you're a hedonist, you're more likely to disregard it. People in general are addicted to serotonin and endorphins, and will usually do anything to feel good.

 

Not to mention, it's also human nature to put the blame on an external source, rather than analyze our own nature.

Personally, legalizing it would cause a lot of problems with supply/demand issues. Until the world can come to a consensus on: how much weed is too much to intake at any given time and who can supply it and who cannot, it will never happen.

 

There is a bad stigma to weed already as the main suppliers of marijuana are drug cartels who use terrorism to make countries (Mexico) submit to their own type of law. Speaking for the US, we're so ******* afraid of illegals and illegal drugs that there is no way in hell that marijuana is going to be legalized any time soon.

Lol are you stupid? Marijuana is a dangerous drug no matter what anybody says and there are way less dangerous medicines out there for the same relief for pain and symptons. Marijuana ***** up the your brain, lungs, and cells in ur immune system which is needed to fight off infections, anxiety.. etc. and it also contains a **** load of chemicals that haven't been studied which can cause cancer and a bunch of other harmful things.

 

If it becomes legal, the world will be more ****** up than it is now,
