  1. Wth @ 2nd picture. Employee insulting customers/kids? What is he, 12 years old? Lmao.
  2. inb4 latest post of all time. Congrats guys, I wish when TTC was alive we could have had more fights and got along better. Can't believe I was like 17 when TTC started and we were constantly having digs at eachother. Almost 20 now and realise how stupid some of our arguments were, haha. You guys have some great members that I can remember, keep it up.
  3. So maybe I'm out of the loop but why is someone with 31 defence and 99 prayer in a LPC?
  4. Interesting, will be good to see what everyone comes up with..
  5. Voted 2nd because I like the transition from colour to bnw; it's very smooth and pops. First has potential but I think the canvas is too big, has colours but isn't colourful and doesn't really have a foreground. People voting for blurring and sharpening makes me just a little mad. Not gonna lie.
  6. ^This. If you're the guy who used to hang out with Jigsaw and all that, I hate you. Otherwise, welcome to PW
  7. Voted #7 because I like what was done to the stock. Probably would have gone with #6 (assume it's Sirwat's) but I don't like that it's so heavily centered
  8. **** you like graphics a lot :ninja: Cbf doing graphics everyday and improving; you thrash that **** like a baws.
  9. Nice end product, I can definitely see how I do everything the hard/retarded way now.
  10. Actors/movies in no order: Movies Shawshank Redemption Fight Club American History X American Psycho Inception (500) Days of Summer Shutter Island Memento Twelve Monkeys Gladiator ^If there are any of those movies you haven't watched, you're missing out, other movies I'd include would be Spirited Away, The Pursuit of Happyness and G.I. Jane. Actors Christian Bale Edward Norton Leonardo DiCaprio Russell Crowe Will Smith Brad Pitt Morgan Freeman Robert De Niro Viggo Mortensen Can't think of others atm.
  11. Entering with a somewhat sub-par entry
  12. Actually some really nice looking pieces in there.
  13. One of the main aspects of posting your artwork in the Graphics section of this forum - or any other - is to gain feedback and constantly remove bad habits/gain important tips. As a lot of the active artists here would know, a popular way of creating an art piece is using stock images and altering/adding to/substracting from them in some way. In saying this, a lot of the stock images you will find on graphics sites have already been altered or manipulated in some way to make it better. This makes it difficult for more experience members of our graphics community, and even guests who like to comment on pieces, to give proper criticism without the original image. We don't know how good the quality of the stock was, which parts of it may have been altered through blurring, lighting, gradient maps, brushing and/or other editing techniques. For all we know, the image you used already looked astounding and you've done nearly nothing to it leading to good criticism; this would give you a false sense of accomplishment. On the other hand, you may have made a bad quality image look amazing but to us, it just looks like any other photo. In a similar process to before, we give you bad criticism when in fact you've done more than we think and this puts you into a slump. All in all, I'm just saying, asking even, that you post the original stock images you used with your topic so that everyone can see how much work you've done. We'll interpret the piece through this and give you far more effective criticism and tips

    2 Piece

Aspects of them look good but I'd also like to see the original stocks to see how much work was put into them so I can properly criticise. Might make a topic about it.
  15. I like this a lot, the focal really stands out and emanates presence. I personally think there are minimal effects that collaborate effectively together. Only negative I'd like to point out is text placement/font. In saying that, however, by looking at it I can't see a better place to put that style of text. Maybe better left without? Iunno.
