  1. Erm if you keep using that terrorbird its gonna get you defence !
  2. I accept the truth I am haha.
  3. I admit that I'm not too great at pking but thats only because the hop from 99 defence to 10 defence is very strange.. Give it time and I'll learn again i guess lol.
  4. I actually saw a couple of those today at a mini. Autowin :D
  5. I prefer 200k exp over 80k p/h and some charms :P
  6. Ehhh its worth roughly the same at the moment but when it becomes maxed it will be close to 800$ Before Pic
  7. It all boils down to the effort things take to get. 71 Hunter > 96 Summoning
  8. I don't post glitches often in here they get patched :P
  9. Zaney's Guide to Gilded Altar Training - Requirements - -75 Construction (Or 68 see *) -Wealth -PoH -Gilded Altar - Basic Altar Info - Like any altar, it can be used to recharge prayer. When bones are used with the altar, a 250% prayer experience point bonus is given over the normal experience gained by burying bones. Incense burners contribute to greater bonuses. With one burner lit a 300% experience bonus, when both are lit it gives 350%. All incense burners give the same amount of experience. To build a gilded altar, the player needs 75 Construction, two marble blocks, four gold leaves, two bolts of cloth, a hammer and a saw. The total cost to buy all the materials for the altar is 1,170,700 coins. *The gilded altar can be constructed as early as level 68, by using a crystal saw (Obtained during the Eyes of Glouphrie quest, it allows you to build things 3 additional levels above your own level) and spicy stew (this may possibly increase your level +5). In order to receive the +5 Construction bonus you must use three orange spices per stew. Note that although +6 boost is technically possible it is extremely rare; a +6 boost would stack with the crystal saw for a +9 Construction bonus. Furthermore a +5 bonus is not guaranteed either, and may take several attempts to get. Another option is getting 69 construction and drinking PoH tea (from teak shelves 2), which combined with the crystal saw gives a total boost of +6. The advantage of this method is that the tea boost is certain, as opposed to the stew. - Bank Setup - To maximize your experience per hour (Exp/Ph) you will need to have a separate tab for doing this in your bank. The order does not matter but the items in it do. You will need Marrentill, House Telly Tabs, Tinderbox, Bones, and Rings of Dueling(8). If you plan to do a lot of bones then you will need many Tabs, Rings, and Herbs. Your bank should look something like this - - Inventory/Gear - The inventory and gear are also something that can help increase experience per hour. Your gear can be anything you want since you wont be running very far. The only required item you wear is a Ring of Dueling. The inventory should look similar to this to minimize your effort and to make your inventory look organized. The first row should have your essential items, Telly Tabs, Tinderbox, and 2 Marrentills. You want the two herbs on top so you can do a quick check before you telly to your house and find you only have 1 instead of 2. They are used for lighting the incense burners, which when both lit, give an extra 350% more exp per bone. - House Setup - Your house should also be arranged properly to help. As long as you have a portal room linked to your altar you'll be golden. This saves you time from running extra to your altar room across the house. If you don't want to use Rings of Dueling then you could attach a portal room or a room with a glory for teleporting once finished with the bones. - Method - Once you have your gear correct, and house/bank setup you can begin. First go to your tab with everything in it. Then withdraw all but one House Telly Tabs, 1 Tinderbox, 2 Marrentills, and then withdraw all Bones. The 2 Marrentills are for lighting your incense burners which will give you 350% more exp per bone when both lit. Your inventory should be filled and you are ready to go. Click on your House tab then go to your portal room and light both burners. Once both burners are lit right click your bones and select use on altar then choose the option to "Make All" Now wait until your character has finished offering all of the bones in your inventory. If you chose to bring a familiar take the bones out of it and use those too. Finally use your Ring of Dueling to teleport to Castle Wars then begin the process again! ____________________________________________ Zaney's Guide to Bursting/Barraging on A Pure Zaney's Guide To Prayer Bonus/Drains Zaney's Guide to Chinning on A Pure Zaney's Guide to Gilded Altar Training Guide to Protecting Items Nearly Anywhere

    Guide To Prayers

Zaney's Guide To Prayer Bonus/Drains In this guide I'll try to explain how you can calculate the prayer drain/prayer pots, so you can find out how long you can stay at Aviansies, Zammy Warriors, Bandits etc. - Prayer Summary - Prayer is often used by Pures, who have the acquired level, to beat high level monsters or players, that would otherwise rip through their low defense. Using a Prayer spell drains the player's Prayer energy at varying speeds, and once this energy is depleted, Prayers can no longer be used; therefore, use of any and all Prayers is temporary. To slow the rate of drain, players may equip items that add Prayer bonuses, such as a blessed holy symbol or priest robes, which reduces the drain rate by increasing Prayer bonuses. Increasing Prayer level does not reduce the drain rate of prayers. Once the player's Prayer points reaches zero, all Prayers will deactivate and no Prayers will be able to be in use until the player recharges their Prayer points, through various mediums. Your prayer level will drain slowly or fast, depending on what prayers you have activated, here is a list of the regular prayers and how they drain. - Normal PrayerBook - Players can also use some Prayers at the same time with others, though doing so will compound the drain rate of these Prayers. Some Prayers cannot be used simultaneously and are marked in the table with the same background color. For example, activating the Smite Prayer while the Protect From Melee Prayer is active will automatically deactivate Protect from Melee as they are incompatible Prayers. Thick Skin - 1 point per 12 seconds Burst of Strength - 1 point per 12 seconds Clarity of Thought - 1 point per 12 seconds Sharp Eye - 1 point per 12 seconds Mystic will - 1 point per 12 seconds Rock skin - 1 point per 6 seconds Superhuman strength - 1 point per 6 seconds Improved reflexes - 1 point per 6 seconds Rapid restore - 1 point per 26 seconds Rapid heal - 1 point per 18 seconds Protect item - 1 point per 18 seconds Hawk eye - 1 point per 6 seconds Mystic lore - 1 point per 6 seconds Steel skin - 1 point per 3 seconds Ultimate strength - 1 point per 3 seconds Incredible reflexes - 1 point per 3 seconds Protect from summoning - 1 point per 3 seconds Protect from magic - 1 point per 3 seconds Protect from ranged - 1 point per 3 seconds Protect from melee - 1 point per 3 seconds Eagle eye - 1 point per 3 seconds Mystic might - 1 point per 3 seconds Retribution - 1 point per 12 seconds Redemption - 1 point per 6 seconds Smite - 1 point per 2 seconds Chivalry - 1 point per 1.5 second Rapid renewal - 1 point per 2.5 seconds Piety - 1 point per 1.8 second Rigour - 1 point per 2 seconds Augury - 1 point per 1.8 second - Ancient Curse PrayerBook - These are only available to members. Similar rules from the regular Prayer list apply: Sap Curses cannot be used with leech curses. Deflect Curses cannot be used together, except Deflect Summoning can be used with another Deflect Curse. Protect Item - 1 point every 18 seconds Sap Warrior - 1 point every 2.4 seconds Sap Ranger - 1 point every 2.4 seconds Sap Mage - 1 point every 2.4 seconds Sap Spirit - 1 point every 2.4 seconds Berserker - 1 point every 18 seconds Deflect Summon - 1 point every 3 seconds Deflect Magic - 1 point every 3 seconds Deflect Missiles - 1 point every 3 seconds Deflect Melee - 1 point every 3 seconds Leech Attack - 1 point every 3.6 seconds Leech Range - 1 point every 3.6 seconds Leech Magic - 1 point every 3.6 seconds Leech Defense - 1 point every 3.6 seconds Leech Strength - 1 point every 3.6 seconds Leech Energy - 1 point every 3.6 seconds Leech Special Attack - 1 point every 3.6 seconds Wrath - 1 point every 12 seconds SoulSplit - 1 point every 2.0 seconds Turmoil - 1 point every 2.0 seconds (3.0 seconds with Castle Wars Halo equipped) - Prayer Drain Calculations - These are the prayer drain rates without any prayer bonus, with prayer bonus you can calculate like this: A player has a drain rate of 2 points per 3 seconds, if that player equips prayer Armour to get a prayer bonus of 20 the the prayer is slowed by 0.035 * 20 = 0.7 Therefore the drain rate will become 3 * (2 + 0.7) = 2 points per 8.1 seconds or 1 point per 4.05 seconds. This might seem advanced, just keep in your head that the formulas will always be 0.035*Prayer bonus As you would pray range for Aviansies you would need a total of 705.88 prayer points (If you are praying Protect Range only and wearing 20 prayer bonus) The prayer potion formula is a bit easier; 7 + (Prayer level / 4) So if you had 43 prayer, you could get 17.75 prayer points restored by 1 dose of a prayer potion. ____________________________________________ Zaney's Guide to Bursting/Barraging on A Pure Zaney's Guide To Prayer Bonus/Drains Zaney's Guide to Chinning on A Pure Zaney's Guide to Gilded Altar Training Guide to Protecting Items Nearly Anywhere Another guide brought to you by Zaney =) Please leave comments/suggestions/Ratings!
  11. Zaney's Guide to Protecting Items Nearly Anywhere Requirements -71 Hunter -Magic Box -Beads -Membership Summary Imp-in-a-box can be used by right-clicking on one and choosing "Bank Imp-in-a-box", then a window will come up where the items to be sent to the bank can be selected (Be careful to not click twice quickly, because items can move after clicking on the first one). Alternatively, simply use an item on the box for it to be sent to your bank. This method is a quick way for players with higher hunter levels to quickly bank items in for example PvP areas. Note that when the box can be used to send two items to the bank it will be labeled Imp-in-a-box (2); when one has already been used, it will be labeled Imp-in-a-box (1) and when both have been used, and it will revert to Magic box. The Imp-in-a-box can also deposit Quest items that are normally not able to be transported by a familiar. How to Get the Magic Boxes Filled The easiest places to fill the boxes are north of Yanille. There are 4 imps that spawn every 30 seconds so it is very quick to fill up your boxes. It only takes 1 imp to fill a box so you do not need 2 per box. Try keeping your traps moderately spread and remember to bait them with a bead as that attracts imps to them. Once you have your boxes filled your ready for the next step. The red dots on the map are the spawn points. Try setting the traps in the open areas where it’s easy for the imps to get to your inventory should look similar to the one below while hunting. How to Save Your Items First off you have to sacrifice one of your inventory spaces. Second this will NOT protect items on death so you will have to bank it before you die! What I advise is to spec with your expensive weapon then deposit it. This works when you are so you can potentially keep 3 items on your death by depositing them midst fight and using protect item. It does NOT work past level 30 wilderness though so try fighting below that level. There are two ways you can deposit the item. By opening the menu and selecting the item you want deposited or using the item on the box. The opening manually is not practical while pking so I wouldn’t advise doing it that way. Using the item on the box is much more reliable. The imp will take it as soon as you use the item so if you are running from someone and trying to tank them you can deposit your expensive items while running away from your attacker. This works while you are in combat, skulled, or even just standing there. Directly Using the Item Selecting an item from your inventory Depositing items uses 1 use from the magical box each time. Once the box is out then it is useless until refilled. You can use this to transfer ANY item to the bank. Including lent items, Quest items, and Expensive items. ____________________________________________ Zaney's Guide to Bursting/Barraging on A Pure Zaney's Guide To Prayer Bonus/Drains Zaney's Guide to Chinning on A Pure Zaney's Guide to Gilded Altar Training Guide to Protecting Items Nearly Anywhere Brought to you by, Zaney Please post Questions/Comments/Suggestions!
  12. Zaney's Guide to Bursting/Barraging on A Pure This guide will show you the gear, inventory, location, and how to multiply your skeletons. You can also use this guide if you are a main you just need to modify your gear a little then you'll be golden. Requirements Started Monkey Madness Lots of Wealth 70 Magic / 94 Magic 45 Prayer About Bursting/Barraging Ice Burst is a combat spell that requires a Magic level of 70. It deals up to 220 life points per hit. You need to complete Desert Treasure quest to unlock the Ancient Magicks spellbook. It will freeze the player's target and any targets standing on an adjacent square to your target, including diagonals. The targets will be unable to move for 10 seconds. It is worth noting that this spell can damage a maximum of 9 squares with targets in them per cast. Ice Barrage is the second strongest spell in the game, after Miasmic Barrage. It requires a magic level of 94 and can do a maximum damage of 300 life points with no bonuses. A successful Ice Barrage will freeze enemies for 20 seconds, however if someone is already frozen, the effect of freezing will not stack. If you freeze someone, then ice barrage again, it will appear as a small sphere with light blue stars falling from it How To Get There Traveling via Daero at the first floor of the Grand Tree (East next to Blurberry) to using Waydar Crash Island, and then sailing to Ape Atoll with Lumdo. The teleportation spell Teleport to Ape Atoll, requiring level 64 Magic (after completing the King Awowogei part of Recipe for Disaster). Teleporting to the Agility course using the fairy ring code C-L-R (after completing Fairy Tale III). A small ninja monkey greegree is required to get through the log shortcut to the agility course and the rest of the island. This map shows the entire dungeon you will be going through. If you somehow manage to get lost just refer back to this map to help find where you are. The first red square is commonly called 'Spot 1', the second one is 'Spot 2', and the third one is 'Spot 3. This guide is going to show you how to chin at spot 3 which is the easiest and most experience. Gear and Inventory This is an example of maxed pure gear. Technically pures can't wear barrows gloves but this is my reset prod so i had them on anyway. Pures can alternatively wear their highest RFD gloves. This will show you alternatives from maxed to lowest. Headgear: Any mitre Amulet: Amulet of Fury > Glory > Amulet of Magic Cape: God Cape > FireCape Weapon: Ancient Staff > Master Wand Shield: Mages Book > God Book Chest: God Robe Top > Ghostly Robes > Monk Robe Legs: God Robe Bottom > Ghostly Robes > Monk Robe Boots: Wizard Boots > Ghostly Boots Gloves: Barrows Gloves > RFD Gloves Ring: Ring of Life (For your first few times) > Seers' Ring This is considered max gear for pures. It has a high magic bonus as well as a good prayer bonus. You can substitute gear as you want but you want to keep good prayer bonus along with magic. Inventory: First Row - 4 Magic Potions(4) Second Row - Shark - Super Antipoison(4) - GreeGree - 1-Click Telly Rest - 16 Prayer Potions(4) Final Row - Chaos Rune - Water Rune - Death Rune - Blood Rune Magic potions boost 5 levels. If you repot when you are at2 points boost left and are using Mystic Might prayer then you should run out of prayer potions at the same time as range. The blood runes are so you can cast Blood Burst which heals you. The shark is for emergency's. The spikes and spiders in the dungeon poison you so antipoison is a must. GreeGree is optional but allows you to logout. One click telly is essential for leaving and emergency. Attack Style While you are bursting/barraging make sure you have auto retaliate on so you don't staff bash and gain unwanted experience! If you want to keep yourself from getting bored you could keep clicking but i highly advise against that. Prayer Use the normal prayer book as the curses have less bonus then the normal one. Mystic Might gives you a 15% increase to your range and is strongly recommended. Curses do not work as well here because they take time to get to their full boost and by the time they do the skeleton is dead making them always be at 10% range boost equivalent to Mystic Lore in the normal prayer book. Protect from Melee is an absolute MUST. The skeletons you will be fighting here are level 142's and using this method you will have 9+ on you at the same time. Always watch your prayer here as if it drops and you have low defense your good as dead. How to Burst/Barrage Red is the starting spot. Green is the switch spot. When you first arrive to your spot if it is not already taken then there will be 4 skeletons wandering around the cave. If you are using a greegree they will not attack but if you are not they will become hostile. When you are ready go to human mode and start attacking them. Make sure to pot up and turn on Protect from Melee. Attack the center one so you are fully using the bursts 3x3 attack range. Once you kill 2 of the 4 move to the 'switch spot'. Now continue killing the rest. Now the fun part, the bones on the ground allow the skeletons to come back to life and fight again. You should now have 5 skeletons since there is a bone that always spawns on the 'start' spot. Keep repeating and spreading the bones around so you get a nice group with multiple skeletons stacked ontop of eachother. You should start to have a group. When your finally doing good and made good progress through your trip you should be able to right click your skeletons and see something similar to this Notes You will need to keep moving and 'spreading' the bones out as you kill them so you can keep your 3x3 attack grid going strong. Always, always! Watch your prayer you can die very easily from being distracted. If someone comes to your world don't flame them, ask them to hop nicely, odds are they will. Questers are your biggest nightmare here. They will run through your skeletons and mess up everything. All you have to do is cast your spell at all the far/wandering ones and then go back to the 'start spot' then wait for them to come then go to the 'switch spot'. How to Figure Out Experience To figure out your experience gained per burst/barrage, and cost per experience you just need to do some simple math. Experience per Burst/Barrage - ~ 40 + 0.2 per LP of damage done ~ ~ 52 + 0.2 per LP of damage done ~ Find out your total experience gained. (Use Runetracker) Subtract the amount of bursts you started with by the amount you have now. Divide your experience gained by 40(For Burst) or 52(For Barrage). Now you have your base experience per burst. Now divide that by 10. You now have total experience gained. Example: 256,000 Experience Gained 256,000/52 = 4923 4,923/10 = 492.3 Experience per Burst Cost per Experience - ~ Ice Burst costs 1,146 coins per cast ~ ~ Ice Barrage costs 2,568 coins per cast ~ Find out the price of the Spell (All Runes Combined = Total) Divide the cost of them by the experience gained each. Now you have your cost per experience. Example: 1146gp Each 1146/492.3 = 2.3GP per Experience. ____________________________________________ Zaney's Guide to Bursting/Barraging on A Pure Zaney's Guide To Prayer Bonus/Drains Zaney's Guide to Chinning on A Pure Zaney's Guide to Gilded Altar Training Guide to Protecting Items Nearly Anywhere Feel Free to post any questions/comments. 13. Zaney's Guide to Chinning on A Pure This guide will show you the gear, inventory, location, and how to multiply your skeletons. You can also use this guide if you are a main you just need to modify your gear a little then you'll be golden. Requirements Started Monkey Madness Wealth 55+ Range (75+ Recommended) 44 Prayer About Chinning Red chinchompas are multi-target stackable Ranged weapons requiring level 55 to use. The red chinchompa's are thrown like darts or throwing knives however, it explodes on impact. They can hit up to 9 targets in a 3x3 area. They cannot be picked up again from the ground after being thrown and ava's accumulator does not return them. Also you can start chinning as early as level 75 range and not be wasteing your money. Any lower is questionable but at level 75 you can earn 135-155k experience per hour. Note: If you die with red chinchompas in their inventory or equipped, the chinchompas will disappear and cannot be retrieved. How To Get There Traveling via Daero at the first floor of the Grand Tree (East next to Blurberry) to using Waydar Crash Island, and then sailing to Ape Atoll with Lumdo. The spikes and spiders in the dungeon poison you so antipoison is a must. GreeGree is optional but allows you to logout. One click telly is essential for leaving and emergencys. Attack Style The most common arguement about chinning is what attack style to use. There are three attack styles, short, medium and long fuse. Medium has the attacking speed of "rapid" and is faster than short and long fuse. The speed of red chinchompas is the same as a shortbow. Prayer Use the normal prayer book as the curses have less bonus then the normal one. Using Eagle Eye gives you a 15% increase to your range and is strongly recommended.
