  1. Now that my account is obsolete I am wondering what I should consider if I make a new pure? Thoughts?
  2. Why's the definition of pure changing? I remember when clans were wary of accepting 20 defense, and now 'pures' are up to 39 defense? Why? It almost makes the term pure meaningless.
  3. I turned my account into a 45-defense 'main' because at higher levels, at which I plan to PK, mains fair better.
  4. Can't expect ex-employees to give positive and unbiased reviews, now, can we?
  5. My account's level 48, my highest skills are 65 range, 59 magic and 55 strength. Looking for a clan and figured I'd start here. :-)
  6. This entire debate comes down to semantics and how players define 'pure'. Let it be said that it's a broad term that is not set in stone. It's definition changes on a clan to clan basis. It's not a ridiculous idea to draw the line at 45, it's a line the same way all others are, just more inclusive. That inclusiveness is clearly a factor one should take into consideration when disallowing players who ever so slightly sway from arbitrary requirements. My opinion, which has been for a long time now, is as the OP's. I feel players get too caught up in whimsically decided semantics and dichotomies that arise from said meanings. Perhaps there shouldn't be a black and white mentality here but a spectral one. Toss out the vague and argued upon term 'pure' and merely realize accounts can be defined universally more easily by simply saying what they are; an account with 1 defense is an account with 1 defense, the same way an account with 45 is an account with 45. Instead of trying to make it seem we're comparing apples and oranges, let's call us all apples.
