Having experienced most clan communities on my network of spies, i can confirm that FOE, Fi and TLP have cool communities.

I haven't heard of any of them and i'd wager they'll all be dead in 2 months.

Some people were testing it and they told me that it works the same way as a team cape (can left click other capes but not your own).

In which case it will make sense to use the new ones.

edit: Other people are telling me you can only left click people in other capes if they're a lower cb, in which case we'd probably stick to the team-50.

Haven't seen anyone elses yet, we've settled for a black cloak with red pirate emblem for now, but i think we'll be changing it.

My low defence based Runescape warring clan is much too prestigious to post a recruitment topic on the official runescape home forums.

 

 

Kind of sounds stupid when you spell it all out Jonty.

You don't see any good main clans recruiting from the rs forums either lol.

It's not stupid as i would say the general consensus is that pures that come across your clan via. runescape forums are generally newer, less experienced, and lack the initiative to find out about the community for themselves.

In my opinion it's not about us being "too good" for them, it's that most clans will prefer quality over quantity and, unless in times of real desperation, don't need to comprimise that.

Has long been a recruitment tool unused by the top pure clans, but for what reason?

With the new updates, i've seen some clans utilising this tool to give themselves perhaps a numbers boost ahead of what could be a rejuvinated clan scene. eg;

Do you think it will lower the quality and reputation of the clan, or do you think that for clans desperately in need for an increase in numbers, it's just the ticket?

If MM's saturday trip fails as miserably as their troll attempt here, it might not even take 38 minutes.

I think an even bigger problem is teaming with main clans, especially doing it every weekend.

I'd say any clan that does that is setting a terrible example for the rest of the community, and should either just become a main clan themselves, or try and learn to pk without them.

But i presume if someone has stolen other clan's names it will take about 5 minutes to get them back when a leader point out to to the relevant jmod that the registrar's name isn't on your runehead.

 

But i hope the low IQ kids found it humerous while it lasted.

 

i think you fail to realize Jagex neither know or care about your clan, Jagex also don't recognize sites outside of Runescape.com. Commence panic!

 

Hence why they ask whether your memberlist is on runehead on the clan leader application form on rsb.
