  1. I say we stick to 30 def and all the pure clans come together to kill main clans every weekend.

Now that would make pking every weekend alot of fun lol. But sadly... will never happen.

OT: No 40 def will not be considered pure. at least not for a while.

Tbh every pure clan combined couldn't take down a main clan like RSD, VR, EoS, TT, or DF. Any one of those main clans alone would slam pures. Pures don't bring mage to F2P so one of those maxed mains could easily tank like 150 of us while the others are dropping like flies.

You are overestimating mains and underestimating range. The thing is, pures don't know how to find piles nor do leaders know how to call one individual pile if they have decent opts.

  2. Was either pking with friends, or in a rs forums clan. Didn't really know about official pure clans back then. My rsn was Sry I 0wnedu.

Same, I just pked with my friends all the time. I didn't even know forum clans existed. :teehee:

Rsn was Joemomma826 (lul), I usually pked in W55.

Wait you were Joemomma? I could've sworn that was spittles.

    You were so lil :P

  3. If you compare main clanning to pure clanning, there'a a big difference. There are more pures nowadays because of the fact that little kids starting out want to take advantage of the game - making it easier for them. If you have a main and it's in a clan, you'd figure out that the communities here (pures) to the communities there (mains) are completely different. Pures have a long way to go before they can consider themselves honorable to a main community due to the fact of trolling.

Even in other games, little kids who are **** at the game think they're so good and they have to troll someone else to make them feel better. When in the end the person they're trolling isn't even mad. They're plainly laughing at the ****** who tries to troll and sucks at the game. That's from my personal experience.

When I'm in a bad mood, yes, I troll. Not to the extent where it ruins the community as a whole. These dickwads with the 'tl;dr' are just 12 year olds with a GPA of 0.5 playing a game trying to make themself seem cooler because they're trying to 'fit in'.

It's disappointing because reading actually makes you smarter and if you had bothered to take 3 minutes to read Keith's post your IQ and your mind would probably feel a lot smarter than sitting at the computer all day frying your brain cells. That coming to mind, the average IQ of a player with a pure is pretty low.

Mains argue/troll just as much as pures do. Though when they do there's usually a reason to, not just 'haha your clan lost, you're ****', etc. Furthermore, main clan leaders have some respect between one another which prevent alot of hatred among the community.

  4. It's not the community members, it's the clan members. Think of PW as a school. Each individual clan as a fraternity, and clan members as cliques. When an influential person in a clique shares his idea, generally it becomes the whole cliques ethic, view, etc. That's the root of the hatred among this community. The ideal way to start the change is friendship among leaders of clans.

  5. I love how 99% of people posting on this topic are all cynical and have no solutions towards this eminent problem.

The moderators should make more of a push for a friendly community.

Moderators and admins have no power to change the community members. Banning people doesn't change the attitude of clan members towards other clans.

  6. I remember when clans had class.

I remember when you can get a planned PKRI without getting crashed.

I remember when clans respected one another.

I remember when clans were driven by rivalry, not by hate.

I remember when clans had fun, theme based fights.

    Spoiler:
EOP v MM - Jedi v Sith - You know that **** was fun

Don't get me started about snowball wars

What has happened to the pure community? Somewhere along the lines we've changed. We're all people who play the same game, and share similarities ingame (low defence). Can't clans just forgive and forget? Make peace with clans you hate and accept their differences. Every clan will have their differences (whether it be views, leadership, ethics, etc). If every clan just treated each other like clanmates, I can see the pure community taking the right step forward. It'll make clanning not only enjoyable for yourselves but for others aswell.

  7. Nice guide pal.
