Epidemic is sort of a wild card because they have crazy leadership, but they don't really have a clue when it comes to P2P. If some of their P2P members step up they could do well.

Epidemic's leadership has yet to prove anything since 2009/NME.

Luckily, 'having a clue in p2p' isn't too much of an issue anymore as its pretty straightforward now with the lack of alot of p2p items introduced post 2007, which will benefit us. 2006/2007 was when the majority of us Epidemic people played regularly, so that suits us. Epidemic was always 'decent' in p2p the last time round, we just never focused on that particular server.

I see clans that relied on F2P to stay 'good' falling off until F2P servers are introduced, and I see MM being #1 for a while. They have a big group of people who know what they're doing (building a pure wise).

Would be wayyy higher stats but I'm doing this with some havoc pals, currently 6 of us our top 20 Attack though lol

The death of the wildy should have been the bigger blow. We didn't have any way of fighting other clans for quite some time and it destroyed something that was so integral to the game I thought people were screwing with me when they told me the update.

 

The pure community just gave up with EoC and too many didn't make a legitimate effort to make it through. I can't speak for all, but I know the majority of MM gave up before they even had an idea of what they were doing. People who didn't even play the beta constantly complaining about things they have no idea about, and even after release, too few even tried to pk. I can understand quitting if you don't like it, but the fact is most people acted like sheep and bandwagon quit before they had even the slightest idea of what they were doing. It takes maybe a day or two to know what you're doing, it is not a huge time investment to "relearn the game."

 

This is overall disappointing to me. We make it past the end times of pking, yet we let EoC stop us. I just don't get it.

Nah, just wasn't Runescape anymore and people wanted to quit this game for a while and this was finally a reason to quit. This happened to a lot of games that peaked around the years 2006-2007, just search some games up on YT look for videos from those years and watch the comments all say the same thing "I miss how this game used to be now it's just blah blah blah", Runescape was heading the same direction as these games. It's heading towards that time of a new generation of kids to play while this generation moves on (I know, some of us are still playing through EOC or BS, but let's be honest that won't be for too long)

walli is flaming on here because hes myron the way we came from 20 pulls with a tiny forum/irc community, and very few old school still around, and rose up and made foe pretty much cease doing f2p the last year or so

 

fact is foe rode our ***** so that we would protect them from mm on saturdays, until we eventually got so sick of their constant bitching (especially kyle) that we just hit them instead, and then foe just became the ***** of f2p, being used by us and mm for free kdr in between our fights

 

after a few weeks of that foe cancelled their trips entirely, they had a few f2p trips now and then but would pull 30 and get dicked by tlp or z or something

 

hes myron because we did what he could never do, and thats become a stable top force in f2p.

 

and hes myron because when his youtube recruits were taken away from him, he had nothing left, had to cancel f2p and close the clan. We became a top clan for 3 years without all the tools his elders left him, he couldn't even maintain his clan with all the fame foe had for a year.

 

whether or not you think we've given ourselves a shite reputation over the last year or so, none of us really give a ****, because at the end of the day, we got to greatly enjoy ourselves and have much success, while you withered away to becoming another irrelevant clan with a leadership not good enough to become good

 

and thats why no-one will remember your name :]

foe rode your ****? but when they dropped your alliance you guys had a total of 100 kills within 2 months of pk trips ;'/...

Walli you take this game so seriously....so what we did what we want? It's a game and we all had fun, also had fun smashing your clan in F2P for 90% of our existance. :P

 

As for EoP....been an awesome 7 years, met so many great people and had so much fun it was unbelievable. Never expected to make it this far, considering when I made EoP forums, i only made them for fun and I didnt actually intend on leading a pure clan, things kinda just fell into place and we formed a legacy from there. Thanks to every member who stuck it out til the end, you guys are awesome. Keep in touch. :wub:

having fought both clans a lot in p2p clw and using them to improve ourselves, i'd say CPR were a lot tougher to beat, although that could also be because fighting cpr so often made us better when havoc came around which allowed us to beat them fairly easily

 

still i'd say cpr

 

havoc were definitely better at standing at the top of bh steps and "gwasing" 5 people an hour and claiming to have the best trip ever every sunday though.

remember when I showed the pics of EOP's kdr for 2 months straight, all adding up together to be a total of about 120 kills? Yah man, you def had good sunday trips when FOE dropped you as an ally lol. I hope you don't think EOP was even good last year, you got carried so hard by FOE, and your worst mistake was flaming them and having them drop you as allies because that was a slump you never recovered from
