Tbh with the def soaking etc i'd suggest 40defence and proberbly range staking?

 

1 pray 1 def. Dueling arena regular rules are no pots, pray, or armor. Your HP will be your defense so if you are thinking of being a prod just scrap that idea now. dependant on how you level the account you will have to decide if you want to put your money into spec on or spec off. I'm kinda predicting with old wild back brids will move to the dueling arena also and start having everything on brid fights in the dueling arena. If you are a decent brid might be something to look into also.

 

If people where to brid for stakes then bringing 10brews woudl be they key =o

I'm a dds staker. There's a bunch of different routes you could take. If you want to stay pure though I suggest high str. 96 used to be the best since you would max out the hit but with the hp update it doesn't really matter as much anymore. The hp you want is up to you. The current account I'm making is 97 str and 82 hp at 71 combat with 1 pray/1 def etc. That's just to start out so I might be going higher (86/90/94) until I see what I like best. It's increments of 4 because thats the highest hp I can have at whichever combat it'll make me (72 at 86, 73 at 90, 74 at 94).

 

First hit skills are really important so keep that in mind, but of course stats help a lot.

If movement is on you used to be able to juke kids by running past them at the last second then msb until they got close enough to dds. 9/10 times they would only go in with dds.

and click at just a moment after it says 1 for first attack, don't wait for go.

Would be pretty cool, it could be used for clans as a backup in case their Ts/Vent gets ddosed.

Why as backup? Just use it if its available. It's free and won't be as big a pain in the ass to set up. Probably be based off of the already existing clan chats.

Pures used to be as low of a combat as possible and still being able to do damage. With all the updates and **** it's just in everyones head what they believe pure to be. I still believe in the 1-5 def being pure. Anything else is a try hard wanting to fit into a community they don't belong to. That's just my opinion though. Not flaming at all I'm not the boss, and I don't set the standards so who am I to tell the next dude hes not pure.

Just reading the RS forums, you get the impression that the stock markets of every item will fall.
