The more action the better.. don't see what the big deal is lol. Times have changed obviously, people are still holding on to the past which is completely retarded. Adapt to the changes or just quit.

I disagree with you, with all this crashing and clans hiding in single it makes it hard to get a fair 1v1 fight. When you finally get a fight you don't want it to last 30 sec, then go back to 30 minutes of searching for another one. Longer fights are usually more fun for everyone involved.

 

that your opinion since you're in FOE and the only clan you guys fight is MM, so ofc you guys will be wanting more action. Not the same for the other 5-10 clans.

yeah, avoid using clans names though. I just feel like that's part of the weekend grind, thats always been around. Crashing creates controversy, it creates a storyline/rivalries. The way it should, and is set up to be settled is Clan A crashes and makes clan B hate them with a passion, clan B challenges clan A to a full out war to settle the score. Longer fights aren't more fun, considering that every clan has "that guy" type members that will die 3 times and say "**** it, i'm losing bank here" and logout. It essentially becomes a war of patience.

it's not a matter of upholding the ways of old, it's the fact that fights aren't even based off of who clears the other clan anymore, its to see who is willing to return and deny the fact that they lost at all costs. People wonder why clans start to gain the stereotype of becoming a clan wars clan.

30 defence in pure clans presents many obvious and immediate changes in the way we operate as a pure community. Since the obvious factors that play into the pure community have been pointed out and shot down hundreds of times, simply because so many people are already 30 defence, i will point out those subtle changes that are taking place as of late.

You are to listen, this is not debateable, consider this food for thought.

You spawn in Edgeville. A rune pure is 40-50 defence depending on who you ask. A pure is 1-39 defence depending on which clan you ask. Rather than having one or two addy daddies in a clan like it used to be, the vast majority of many clans are now 30-39 defence. Main units accompany clans to snipe opposing clans leaders.

Main wars can and have lasted up to 48 hours. A battle is now determined by which clan can return longer and deny the fact that they were cleared fairly. Returning is 100 times easier with the use of wakas, teleports, and running from edgeville. Some clans have 5-10 players that are around 110 cbt in f2p, and cannot be attacked at all by the opposing clan, therefore they can sit there, while their clan who died can return and keep the fight going.

If we keep this up, our fights are going to last longer and longer. Someone needs to break the chain.

Give me your opinion, don't flame, and don't use clans names. I sure don't want our fights lasting 3 hours on a saturday, how do you feel?

TLDR for those of you with the attention span of a 16 year old playing runescape; Fights are longer and longer because of 30 defence, and returning, and some of us don't want to spend our entire saturday playing rs.

So another F2P trip comes and ready for some action. A nice pull to start the trip, with all of us 100% ready for fights.

We head out into the wilderness looking for some feast on muffins or other clans.. Hoping mainly for some Mayhem Makers. ;)

With a nice 57 to start, and 65 to end the trip. Very nice.

Why does this not surprise me?

I was sick last night, so i left the trip after the first hour and 30 minutes of the fight. But judging by the video i'm uploading, it's easy to see that when you guys accept fights not directly on top of return spots, you get your **** pushed in.

Looked like a good trip, surely boosted the metabolism. GJ

I have developed a setup that works best for me, and i have used it since the food combo came out, during my mini warring days in veneratio. I call it the Slug Setup, for its abstract bullet shape. As ***** as this all sounds, it's true.

Its a shame to see the use of macros to pk, especially when it's painfully obvious. Hybridding isn't pking.

since my previous post got "cleaned", around 30 were in portal waiting for a chance to get in, and ended up only participating in 1 round. This was a matched opts war, not a full out.

Last round was absolutely epic, FOE were like 14 people down and pulled it back to even, but i guess by then they were low on food and MM were able to pull off the win.

yes, low food would be part of a runescape war resulting in the eating of massive amounts of food. And props for bringing back the PCR-style full out wars. prior to this week, there hadn't been a full out in the pure community in ages. I never quite understood the "PCR list is pointless" mentality, because it turned the pure community into one big lie

20 def pking sucks, but the kills you get make you profit, most of the people at 95 combat are near maxed rune pures/statius/korasi/whatever else and claw rushers

we pulled more to castle wars yesterday than to our trip today, however, there is no stopping us.
