It's a bit of fun and something to break up your clan or teams routine.

So far only FOE has signed up which is a little dissappointing, but hopefully through word of mouth and IRC we'll get most of the pure clans atleast having a go in this tournament.

Brut re-rushed from clanwars, and we told MM to go up into BH to fight you guys but you bailed and MM logged when there was no one left to fight, leaving HF last standing in BH bank and Brut trying to take fake endings with 45opts while there were 140 opts of HF in control of the bank.

Your video shows you fighting Foe @ BH with no MM in sight. More like MM bailed before they even got to BH.

Well we told MM to go to BH bank. They confirmed they were dealing with TLP/randoms at clanwars. Regardless if they bailed the orinigal topic is a load of crap so I was just clearing a few things up.

So to sum up the post above, MM teamed with HF because there was nobody above level 30? Not many pure clans p2p pk above level 30 anyways, it's all below level 30 wild for the most part. It would make much more sense if you said MM had teamed with HF because there was nobody BELOW level 30. If HF had 140 opts, and MM had 40-50 people which im sure they did, they still wouldn't team to combine an options count of about 270-300 just because they were bored.

 

I ain't choosing sides, and im not here to argue, I just wanted to point out that the post you have just made, has more than a negative impact on MM's reason for teaming, rather than a positive one.

There wasn't anyone out on that world full stop. MM had been walking around clanwars BH on the same world as us for a good half hour before they walked up to corp and we decided to go after SY+KO on another PvP world.

We hopped in corp, SY+KO had bailed south to fight PX+SY, so we were still together and since MM didn't want to end we went to spider hill/RDG coz we heard Brut was out.

Teaming had nothing to do with FOE. They weren't even on our world and only rushed when they heard we were fighting Brut. Watch the vid so see us fighting Brut for a good 15mins before FOE tries to rush and then bails in .2231 secs.

Keep it up Foe ;) Shame about MM still asking HF to help them :S

Also had hf and mm teaming and heard they were fighting brutality so we decided to help brutality and cleared all MM and lold at them logging instantly or trying to before we killed them. Then mm pretty much ended and bailed on hf leaving them to get smashed by Foe, Tlp and Brut

MM teamed with us out of sheer boredom since no one was above lvl 30, we were actually going to hit SY+KO on w72 and MM wanted to make it 2v2. We lost a loc on SY+KO and walked north hearing Brut were still out and started slapping them until they were forced to call regroups in GDz.

We let them since we didn't want the fight to turn into a GDz barrage fest which would allow Brut to outlast. So we stayed at vents and dominated Brut from there until FOE tried to rush through gap with MM capes on, but failed miserably because half of you got caught in barrage piles and within seconds you were bailing south to regroup with TLP.

I think you should put the starting and ending opts in that fight vs MM lol, looks like 70 foe vs 15 mm... Just saying.

 

N way GJ on showing that TLP are beatable. Although I think you should accept MM's full out now!

 

Are those f2p combat levels? And is summoning on in p2p? And what happens if a clan has a couple members over the limits? Shouldn't be a problem for Foe, but I know it could be for some others.

As for rules, they will be the default jagex rules for the j-cup unless both clans agree to new rules for each fight.

P2P CWA will not have summons, hence why P2P CWA is going to be based off F2P lvls, not P2P.

It is rather surprising though, those are all categories we either had (or very similar) to what we had last year, i guess we just didnt advertise it well enough. Obviously some of your pure clans are P2P based and some are F2P based. I'm just trying to gauge what is more popular amoungst pures because I know RP/tanks are more P2P based.

Depends on how organised it was.

They are generally better organised that J-Cups (run by Jagex), because they are run by actually clan (ex)members themselves.

Doubt RSC will be doing anything related to 1 defence. I have read several threads on RSC about pure clans/pures in general and the majority don't give 2 cents about pures. However having some sort of combat cap could attract pure clans to fight in the tournament.

Your exactly right, but that is the attitude the mods are trying to change with this tournament. Many of them are ex-pures themselves, and like to see more pure clans posting their night out topics on RSC, as well as getting involved in clan discussion.

They have acknowledged that pure clans have been let down in the past when in comes to tournaments for the clan world.

Don't forget RSC has some strong sway with Mod Timbo and Jagex for the next J-Cup, so if you'd like to see changes in the J-Cup format that gives the small 80-100f2p cmb pure clans a chance to win something and not just the big clans like MM and FoE, then they need you to want to be involved in upcoming RSC tournaments with postivie feedback I can pass on.

I've been approached by the Mods of RSC to gauge the interest of mid-lvl clans and pure clans in competing in a J-Cup style tournament that is run by RSC rather than Jagex.

As a lot of older pure members are aware when it comes to RSC and Jagex, and the tournaments they devise, the opinions of low-lvl clans are often over overlooked in favour of the top main clans.

I'd encourage all of you to get your clan leaders to read this and come up with some suggestions you'd like to see in any upcoming RSC tournaments.

So here are my questions (feedback will be given to the organisers):

- Would your clan/team compete in a tournament ran by RSC?- Which categories whould you like to see introduced? Examples would be categories such as:~ under 115cmb F2P~ under 100cmb F2P~ under 80cmb F2P~ fights with caps on def lvls/gear restrictions~ 20v20 fights (small even opt fights)~ full outs, ~ PvP or clanwars etc.- Do you have any questions about a tournament that is run by RSC?

It's a positive sign that RSC is taking mid and low-lvl clans more seriously (yes even you really small or new ones), so I suggest you take this topic seriously and consider the benefits for your clan in competing in such a tournament.

still upset that we used to get bankloot off you guys in '08 but haven't been able to put up a decent fight since HF started pulling more than 50 to trips and so we stopped offering you fights. rot & brut being the only mains that fight HF coz you get no competition from other rp/tank clans, so you guys get bored and come & terrorize get free pixels off FOE to let out your frustration watch us rage over an online game. kinda understand now

Thats the only way this will be settled without dispute. MM tried it last weekend by setting up at dwarves, while FOE dragged the fight south like they do everytime they fight someone, so they can hug safe zones and return faster.

 

Oddly enough, Rodney King, the fight took place at dwarfs, and our return group from CW pushed MM all the way up to gap and to GDZ where we cleared them. Then, chasing any stragglers down BH to ruins to CW.

Why not taking ending at Gap/dwarves when you cleared them if thats where the fight started and you truely had MM cleared? I don't understand your logic?

Killing stragglers is pointless. If they are bailing, they are bailing.

You complain about mains at your fights, yet you delude yourselves into thing you have to run off and chase down every last dot at the risk of having mains camp your fights at BH/clanwars. What else do you expect to happen? All fights at clanwars do is prove who had more games necklaces and which clan can hug better and spam "gf" higher inside a safe zone...

EDIT: If you think returning 30 steps to dwarves via clanwars, or via corp through wilderness volcano is hard in P2P, then you oblivious have no F2P experience fighting deep and how boring that is. And comparing FoE to RoT and FOE being the RoT of the pure would is laughable.

Actually no, last week it was FOE crying about 4-5 HF targets camping them, now it this topic where both of you are trying to claims wins with no clear fall in, no clear ending, your all just spamming random stuff in clanwars lol. Kinda reminds me of what VH used to do in '08-'09.
