Pretty much, before the update, each object was assigned an ID, which was the same every single time you played the game. That's how the bots knew what was what. They've now removed that and all the objects are an index in a huge array, meaning you can't tell which is which. My guess is they're even scrambled each time you log on to the game so there's no way to log the ID's. The only bots that currently work to my knowledge are ones that use colours but they're easily detected.

Color bots are actually the hardest to detect, they just take a lot longer to script, etc, hence why it's much less popular than the other options. See RiD (robotz in disguise), apparently no one has been banned using that since '07.

I remember the first RvB in 09 was pretty fun. Wasn't at the second one, but this one was terrible. I left after 30 minutes. Shows how far the maturity levels of pure clans have dropped.

Make a website and make it mandatory to have applications etc, trust me, you'll gain more respect that way. You're gonna have a ass load of baits, etc.

Again. MM never lowered our requirements in the first place to accept addy so we dont need to bann it because we dont even accept these main accounts into our clan, never have never will.

MM always finds a way to make every topic about themselves.

i dont think i ever remember spying in clans.. i always saw a **** ton of scouts going around the wilderness, no one ever ddos'd no on ever tryed to take down forums no one ever tryed to act hard by ddosing vent then spamming it in game "GF UR TS" the moden day and age of pure clanning has gone to **** purely because of leadership its nothing to do with these forums, a good honest leadership took there clan to #1, leadership with hatred and ignorance crashed there clan to the floor, the only thing that was pretty sad back then was crashing that was is crashing was a big thing now its called a "cluster ****"

I agree, leaders just aren't setting a great example nowadays. Clan members intuitively follow what their leaders do, so the problem really isn't with them. E.g. there's a ton of flames and baits in aftermath topics made by leaders, do you really expect members to not follow suit and instead be friendly and respectful? If there's going to be any change it's going to have to start with leadership.

I've definitely learned a ton from clanning, despite my rather short stint and never really being involved with any of the 'big' clans. The thing with diversity is definitely true...being able to accept that people have significant differences, and don't necessarily have the same interests as you do in terms of where you want the clan to go. With the clans that I was ranked in, I definitely remember not seeing eye to eye with some of the staff, and as a result getting irked off and starting unnecessary drama over it. Looking back, I wish I would have handled that stuff more maturely, adapting to and working through those differences rather than starting heated arguments over them.

Clanning has taught me one thing, it is easy to flame someone you don't know but once you get to know them you find out they are actually pretty cool, it's like people who are racist they usually have never met someone who is the race that they hate.

This is definitely true as well, and I can personally relate with that stupid hateful drama between M and VO back then. There was an actual legitimate hate with that; both clans were flaming the other to no end, calling each other "scum" and other degrading things, etc.. Yet 2 years later I come back on to check on how my old buddies are doing, and what do you know, there's a load of ex-VO in M, and they get along just fine. There was never really any major differences between the 2, both clans were just way too quick in making assumptions about the other. I mean its cool to have rivalries and all, but all that hateful **** just doesn't belong.

Why use overheads then? No offensive bonuses, just defensive. That's a horrible way to attack the use of addy.

Goodjob. None of you could probably even lead a masser clan, let alone lead a real clan. It annoys the crap out of me how admins or mods do not do anything about these flamers who make the community ****.

Plus, many pures currently in "official" clans started as massers, and hell, several official clans started out as masser clans themselves. Makes flaming pretty hypocritical. And needless to say, masser/semi-masser clans do have their pro's, such as being much more relaxed and carefree, which is really the way RS should be.

P.s. to the original poster, if your rsn is 'FallInorDie', I didn't appreciate you trying to kill me in the wildy when I was just wandering around for the first time in quite a while lol. Anyways, GJ, don't care about the flamers on here, and keep doing whatever you think is fun.

Your clan is addy based, your clan a joke. You take the rejects it appears in the pure world. 36 defence 80 str no dt or turmoil quests done, yep thats the quality your clan has. Since when is the "quality" of a member determined by the person's in-game stats? So I guess I could take a week, bot up a 1 def pure w/ a couple 99's, and it looks like I'm considered a "quality" member, lol.
