Make sure you have all RS graphics set to minimum.

 

Sometimes applications may be running by windows, you just don't know whether they should be running or not. Try and clear your cache/prefetch every once in a while as well as temporary files..

 

Like I said there may be application you have no idea exists that run on your computer, I'm assuming there is still software on your dad's computer so you should probably ask him before deleting anything unfamiliar.

 

If after clearing all uncessary files you still lag then you need to change your graphics card.. Your p3 processor is fine and 2gb ram is more than enough for runescape.

ty for the helpful response. I had the hardrive reformatted and cleaned so there was nothing on that comp when I got it, i'll do the things you suggested, but do you think my internet is too slow aswell? or will that not make a difference? Thanks for the reply solo.

Ok, so on trips i'm starting to get bad lag since we're pulling 90+ and with loads of summoning now, down to 1fps at times. I did a speed test on speedtest.net and my dl speed is 14.5mbs, upload is 1.1mbs and a ping of 35. I honestly don't know if these are good enough for trips or whether my computer is causing the problem. My computer was a server at my dads work but I bought it off them because they had a back up so it is relitively new, and has a 3.8ghz processor, but only 2gb of ram and i think it has the most basic graphics card since it was an office computer. Also note that I do not run any other applications whilst doing trips than rs client, ts and mIRC. I use Iobit Gamebooster aswell but still this lag. Any insight as to whether my comp, internet or both is causing the problem.

Either 1 def all on or off, I don't mind. Clans should never gain an advantage from having defence (in the pure world) and are at no disadvangtage if it is a one defence cap, whereas clans without loads of mith/addy would be at a disadvantage if it were 20-30 def cap. Also, whats all this about making it 'fair' in terms of gear etc... Full outs are supposed to be a test of a clans true full out force, therefore restricting things such as dung/ovls/summoning is restricting a clans strength, so a real full out would have all on (apart from things which required defence), although I do appreciate that with small maps + summoning it will be a complete lag-fest.

gj on your trip. Fair enough you bailed when mm crashed, and I understand why you didn't team and I agree with your decision not to team on that case. However, you then go in the complete opposite direction and crash our fight as if crashing solves anything, just seems hypocritical. Just feels like Foe got the short straw last night being on the recieving end of crashes and you must understand from our members point of view why that made them kinda angry. Honestly the main problem is getting a bit out of hand... FOE pulls more mains, so MM pulls more mains, so FOE pulls more mains etc etc etc.

 

I don't think we had any mains today, we woudlnt have any need to as we were big dog of sunday.

I think I have a video, sec I'll have a look... We were rushed by 20 mains at lava gap when you were stood in single strip, lots of those mains that hit us were known FOE mains, so we called HF to fight them.

20 mains? I thought the max foe had were 2 tbh.. ultra and cya bnak. You're not confusing foe mains with when some main clan hit u when u were spread south of ng and we were in maze are you?

Give this escalation sequence a year to more and it will completely counteract itself. We'll get to the point Adamant/Rune is fundamentally accepted, then people will get bored and restart the rotation (revert back to one defence).

i'd love a full out with mm but so much bitching over rules and also we may lose since they have a good 50 members more than us, although we tend to pull more to weekends now so we may pull the same even to the full out. would love to fight them even slightly out opted or w/e just for the fun.

why should defence benefit a pure clan? 1 def cap is the only thing that makes sense, although 20 def would be ok from my point of view, but how can you argue against 1 defence in a pure community?

ok if u watch the vid it doesn't lie. However, the number of wins is not really important. What is important is that both clans got wins and Foe are showing to be a great force in f2p aswell as being pretty much untouchable in p2p. gf's mm and I hope the flaming/trolling between our members can settle down and we can have more fun, action packed weekends to come.
