Eruption of Pures vs The Titans

I was pmed by TT officials on Thursday asking for a run-in, we agreed for Tuesday and decided on no returning with TT to defend. We knew a war against one of the top main clans would be extremely challenging, however through quality organization and listening we emerged victorious.

TT Starting: 47
EoP Starting: 57

TT defended north west of gap just north of the vents, while we rushed from the west. The majority of TT only brought melee which was the deciding factor in the battle as on numerous occasions, including at the very start, we were able to catch them in massive clumps. TT still managed to pile well and for a while at the start it looked as if they had taken the advantage, however a clump at about 2.10 in the video trapped nearly the entirety of TT, allowing us to stand to the side and feast on it while taking no damage back.

The majority of TT died in the one clump, and after that it was only a matter of hunting down and picking them off 1 by 1 for some tasty main loot.

Can you guys start pking on weekends pls or at least having some form of events, dunno what yall are doing but we're getting bored of only having one clan to fight, and i'm sure TLP are getting bored of it too.

In the context of these forums i'm fairly sure everyone knows what it is.

 

And the vast majority of the RS community knows about F2P pking.

 

But generally it will be mainly the clanning (main & pure) community carrying the burden of voting for this.

I tried this brah, asked every clan except MM or FOE for a fight, every clan said no or come pk on saturday and maybe (aka if they outpull us).

 

It's going back to the same trips and spies method because everyone is a *****.

what do you expect when you crash someones fight, it's a bit sad that spying and crashing is already happening like 2 weeks after the server is released, then again I didn't expect anything to change.

After winning the first pure war of 07scape, we looked ahead to competing in and winning the first major pure war of this game. We set up a 2 day prep with Zenith, and headed out with roughly 50 people ready to officially kickstart the new pure community. Upon leaving we heard through the grapevine that MM were out looking to interfere with any fight we had, and fortunately for our banks they did.






We waited for Zenith to defend west of GDZ, and shortly before our rush from newgate we got word that MM had kept true to their word of interfering, and had rushed Zenith. We quickly ran down, got a spread and rushed from the northeast, hitting MM's mages for their tasty blood and death runes. With MM pretty much getting gwased and sandwiched between the two clans, they were soon pushed down south to gap, where we cleared the last few of them and picked up our loot. They ended after this, thanks for coming out to "ruin" our grand opening.

We regrouped at GDZ, and Zenith who had gone south of gap to pick off the last few MM ran back up towards us. We hit them side on on their east side and they ran to west gate where they began to fight back. By this time we'd depleted their numbers and were able to overwhelm them. They pulled back through the gate and tried to clump us in the entrance, but after clearing their remaining south, we pushed through in one fell swoop and cleared the remaining Zenith hardly losing a person.





Zenith wanted a rematch and we were happy to oblige. We defended at our spiritual home The Volcano, and Zenith rushed us from the south. We had a great hill advantage which allowed us to get a few free kills unharmed, however when they started to pull back we rushed down upon them. We kept on top of them and pushed them all the way to newgate where they again attempted to clump us, but the battle was already won, and we pushed through and cleared the remainder at maze hill.

Thanks for the respectful fights Zenith, hope we can do it again sometime.

No one said "oh he's pretty high combat let's look him up" oh 30 attack 30 str still high combat wat.

 

 

Yeah i'm sure all the other clan leaders check the stats of every single member before each fight they have.

 

We've already made it clear it was a mistake and we've kicked him, people just don't care and mindlessly flame, which was my point.

 

Typical pure community, yet I guarantee when we end up at the same flame-ddos-crash-spy fest in a few months the same people will be complaining about it.

 

 

I don't think pure clanning will ever return to what it was, for the two following reasons.

• Starting from scratch. Making a new pure is one thing, making it without a main to transfer GP from is cumbersome.
• The community that made oldschool pure clanning what it was has left by now. There are some veterans still around (I think?) but the bulk of them are gone. Most of the new "pures" will be bringing over habits/characteristics from PKing in newscape. The mindset of oldschool clanning is missing.
