lol 1st pw topic of 07 scape and people are already pointlessly flaming us, some things never change.

I don't think pure clanning will ever return to what it was, for the two following reasons.

• Starting from scratch. Making a new pure is one thing, making it without a main to transfer GP from is cumbersome.
• The community that made oldschool pure clanning what it was has left by now. There are some veterans still around (I think?) but the bulk of them are gone. Most of the new "pures" will be bringing over habits/characteristics from PKing in newscape. The mindset of oldschool clanning is missing.

 

 

It will be 100x more fun than the ****** turmoil dungeoneering clan wars based pure community we've had for the last 2 years.

Forcing clans to actually PK is going to make things better for everyone, hopefully they bring in f2p servers too.

The leader of Eradicate pm'd me while i was hittin up some nat running asking for an 8v8+ PKRI. Seeing as we hadn't had a fight with anyone yet (and to my knowledge no-one else has) I thought it was high time we went for it. We quickly massed up about 12 people and told a few to leave (as to not overpull) so we ended up with 9.

We defended south of dwarves and they rushed in with what looked like a lot more than 9 people, not sure on the actual number. After some initial confusion because everyone was running around in awe at the nostalgia of it all, we got our **** together and cleared em all for some tasty chaos runes and arrows (one highroller had rune arrows, what a success).

Still a lot of details to be hashed out, but ranks are close to being finalized, smaller rank positions will be offered once we have an idea of how big our member base will be.

I'm fairly sure regardless of whether it hit's the totals now they're going to bring 07 scape in because of how popular they know it will be.

Also we will be 1-39 defence.

Would be interesting to see if a lot of younger players come together and start a clan and it gets good....I don't know if Jagex can lure back new players to there 07 servers though.

 

TLP would probably (unsure but it seems logical) come to it if the server we are currently on continues being terrible.

 

Young clans will succeed due to it all being level 3s. Older clans won't have the time to train.

If TLP do come back, do you think you'll finally take #1 in a server for the first time ever?

Will be interesting to see who, if anyone, reopens, and who is leading them.

If the big clans were to reopen i'm fairly certain it wouldn't be the same people leading them, doubt the leaders of EoP/MM/FOE/Fi would come back, seeing as most of them were relieved EoC came and let them close without shame.

It would make sense to try get the younger people involved in leading and start it all from scratch like all dem years ago.
