Don't cheer-lead noob, if you want to actually clan without putting much time in just play battlescape. You can max out ur acc in like 4-5 hrs, make money hella quick and just log in for events.

you're not, though. Your rivalry with NME for example; NME may have closed but the rivalry ended long before then. That's like saying "LOL WE WON OUR RIVALRY WITH TLP CUZ DEY CLOSED!!" if you had a rivalry against them that ended last year.

Cp just happened to be the first clan to really war in the beta/eoc (albeit against main clans no1 has ever really heard of) so they took the "title" by default, if you care to look at it that way.
