On November 4th, 2010 Gamebattles Staff sent me a response to my suggestion made on their forums.

In any case what this means is there will now be a ladder for 2v2 and 5v5+ pure teams. How successful this ladder is based on your activity. Generally if gamebattles sees a high interest in a ladder they will host online tournaments for cash. Over the next couple of days i'm going to be trying hard to get word out about this in the pure community. I want to thank everyone that read the thread or posted a comment.
