I have coded a custom BB Code for you all to enjoy. What I've done is add HTML anchors.

 

In order to use these, you must create the link.

 

[jumpto=link1]Link 1[/jumpto]

 

Produces:

Link 1

 

 

Then you must link it to another section on the page.

 

 

[anchor=link1]JUMP[/anchor]

 

JUMP

 

Link 1 will now link to the "JUMP" text.

 

In order for this to work, the "link1" must be the same for both the jumpto and the anchor, you may have more than one Anchor in each page, this can be done by having "link2", "link3", "link4", and so on.

I don't really see the implications for coding such as this. It seems to just be a "Back to top" type thing. The only real use I could see it having is for guides, which for these boards, are not held on the forum but a separate web page altogether.

TBH it is cool, but why would you want to jump over a tutorial or skip some latest news. Seems weird but its nice.
