I've started playing Forsaken World. It's not too bad so far.

Yeah, it was biased questioning. Plus they said over 80% were for it, when some people answered "I like both the new and the old systems = 25.97%" So surely, that should be halved, for both sides, for and against the system. Thus dropping their stupid made up percentage. Also: Question 5. Out of the following, what do you like most about the Evolution of Combat? Dual wielding = 31.05% Most people only liked the dual wielding, not the action bar, etc, which basically IS the combat system l0l. Such a stupid survey which proves absolutely nothing.

If you mean the current combat system, then no, obviously not...EoC isn't just members.

Just gave EoC beta another shot, **** sucks ass LOL. Cbf to play once it's released, all I did was keep pressing number buttons until those ****** abilities worked. It's no where near as engaging as the current combat system, like seriously you don't even have to click food now. Just keep pressing a number, and no more switching tabs and specing, etc, it's absolutely terrible. It just bored me...I much prefer switching equipment, prayers, and specing the **** out of things. But that's just my preference. EDIT: Oh and I was more focused on staring at the ******* action bar, rather than the actual game. What a load of crap.

Because it's not fun, it's just button mashing. If I wanted to mash 1-9 on my keyboard I'd play WoW.

So, EoC has been announced for the 20th November. I personally tried the beta and hated it. I've played RS for over 8 years and I cbf to get used to an entirely new system when I've been used to the current one for so long. The reason I played RS in the first place was because it was different to the other MMORPGs out there, special attacks made the game fun when pking, etc. Now with specials removed, etc, I just don't see how this game will thrive anymore. It's the same with when they removed the wild, they'll revert back in a year when everyone stops playing.
