  1. Memberlist size.

Leadership ability (usually less of in teams).

Non-mandatory events - people who have less time irl still have a group of friends to pk with.

Teams are very close and generally everyone will know eachother.

Most teams specialise in single pking, p2p, clan wars and cater to more experienced scapers only.

In a decent team a [for example] group of 10 random members will beat a group of 10 random members of a clan.

Clan leadership is usually far more active in terms of how much they actually have to do on a weekly basis.

Although teams also ***** a lot, there is far more clan propaganda than team propaganda.

    Teams have higher requirements.

Teams are more relaxed during trips.

Generally teams don't abide by any enforced honour rules.

Clan members are required to be active on forums whereas team forums are more for advertising and trip times only.

    Cbf thinking of anything else.

  2. Pretty ******* awesome make me a teenage mutant ninja turtle one and ill blow u

Basically the same layout as the spiderman tag. I think it came out better than the spiderman one, tbh.

  3. In an effort to get some discussion up about teams, I decided to post this. I personally think teams became far more noticeable throughout this year as we saw teams like Total Corruption, Team Xtacy, Worldwide Pkers, The Unique Pures, Tribulation, Team Genocide, Team Incorporated, Team Outbreak and Team Bearhead blossom on top of Notorious Pkers who had basically reigned unopposed throughout 2009.

Teams became a place where the best of the best could come to for things like mini-wars+unofficial trips and it gave members a broader sense of community being able to interact with people from different clans. It personally gave me the most fun I've ever had playing Scape and playing a part in the growth of pure teams was awesome

NP has obviously maintained its place as the oldest pure team sticking through hard times rather than simply giving up, so kudos.

The most fun I had was probably between April-September where we were undefeated in mini-wars and were constantly getting loot from daily GWD trips.

  4. Jagex aren't going to create such an event just for pures and isolate the rest of the players because they have a stat that Jagex want them to level, retard. They give bonuses to defence as an incentive for people to spend the time leveling defence for the items. More time leveling = more money spent on membership = more money for Jagex, not to mention the expenses of the items are outrageous so players have to buy more membership to pay for the items (in-game time making rsgp).

Why would they risk putting so much time and effort into such a flawed event just so pures can try it and get bored of it after a few months? It would take away the need for extended membership and prolonged playing time.

tl;dr It's about money for Jagex and you have to weigh the pros of "satisfying" the wants of players against the cons/potential costs. Please stop being stupid.
