What killed the Pure Community is Pure-Warefare

But I've been in pure clans since the birth of pure clans like dp,th and the original fo and I've seen a rapid decline since Pure-Warefare opened, at first Pure-Warefare was fun for recruiting and boasting but now it's causing great tides in the pure-community due to over-inflated egos

 

Not it's not directly pure-warefare's fault, it's the users who've abused it

 

and KDR ruined pure clanning..

 

In 06' We battled til we ran out of returns and thats how we boasted who won

 

We didn't fight for 5 minutes then lobby before the clan re-massed and waka'd back up to save our precious KDR

ok in 06 people didn't even return. they would run up to edge and be like gf *insertclannamehere* then the other clan would march down to edge and spam good fight *insertotherclannamehere*. I agree with the other part though

I agree with all with the exception of #5. MM isn't the god of pure clanning, they aren't really that great of a clan once you break down (this goes for every single clan). They crashed RVB after being told specificly not to, told the consiquences and still did it anyways thinking they can do whatever the **** they want because they are "the last pure clan". Banning them caused little harm to the community and i feel that if you really think that is a major reason the PC sucks you should rethink your standards of destruction.

Your wrong. MM is the god of the pure world. We are the undisputed kings of the pure world and have been ever since the term pure and clan became joined to make the word pure clan. Banning MM didn't cause any problems on PW because most of us don't even use it or see the point in it.

I dont agree with clan wars killing the wilderness but most everything else I do.

 

I've always felt clan wars should be used more often for dangerous fights. No more main crashers, no more logging on other accounts with maul and turmoil and black d hide.

 

back to the purple portal though - Why don't clans fight dangerous in there more often? We used to do that in Havoc sometimes and there MIGHT of been 1-2 raggers. I dont know, i just recently got back to pure clanning im not here to act like I know the solution. In TLP/Havoc I remember doing quite a few purple portal fights which were pretty fun.

That's a really good idea. Red portal fights would be quality because if it's deep you can't rag return quickly enough for it to effect the fight (hopefully)

I would also say that teamspeak has slightly took the fun out of warring. Many people will disagree but if you ever crash a masser war they are all running about like headless chickens like the old times which doesn't happen now. Clans are so good at piling now compared to back then that it's fairly easy to drop someone as soon as they enter your territory. Also the fact that runescape has become a great deal easier. 95% of the community has 94 magic or higher but back then if you had blitz you were **** hot.

It's funny how mm gets banned for crashing a fight that goes against every single principle we have, but clans that ddos/hack everyone get away on this site with what they please do l0l. (and no im not crying about mm being banned, im just pointing out how biased the people that run this site are)

Mm was warned beforehand (they had crashed the previous one). They decided to crash it anyway, so they were banned. We don't ban clans for hacking/ddosing other clans' sites, even though it's pathetic. If you have to ddos to win, you have already lost.

Didn't know crashing pure wars were against Pure Warfare rules? In the Clan Warfare section I see a lot of topics talking about crashing yet no action is taken on them. It seems to me that Pure Warfare has rules for MM and rules for everyone else but yet again that's just my opinion.

I'd agree and say Zenith are probably #1 atm but that could change at any time. Must say though the med scene looks dead as ****. IR/Z/NME/CP there is probably 10 pures between them and the rest have curses or 25+ defence.

EOP are going down the same road the Epidemic took and we all know how that **** ended. It's a shame MM and FOE never got that fight which would of made it an trip to remember. It won't be long until FOE or MM smack them down to merging there trips with IR again for 6 months. To think EOP used to be a safe clan back in the day it's a shame to see what idiots have done to that old community.

Seeing as you spent the majority of your time in TLP flaming us on PW as for some reason you're still annoyed about us killing DP, i'm not going to reccomend my own clan, and i will instead reccomend Z or NME.

Hey Jatt mate, I might but I'm going to leave this up to see what comes along. I'm staying open minded.

Not been in a clan in over 6 months and am looking to join one. Haven't been on in ages and am looking to get back into business.

Was previously in FOE, left to found Dp, when that was over I joined TLP and it was fun.

Looking for a clan who is good on both servers who take p2p/f2p seriously. Nothing worse than turning up to a f2p trip with people who don't want to be there apart from turning up to a p2p trip with people in nrange.

What I enjoy in runescape?

I mainly like p2p pking at ports with people in the non+1 worlds because there's less 1itemers and you can usually get some action. I don't do dung, rarely quest and do not enjoy mini games. How ever I have quested enough on my pure so it meets the requirements of every pure clan. I also enjoy whip/dds pking in edge against mains as I seem to get very lucky. Pked 2 ags/2 claws and about 15 whips since the update has come back although I have been focusing on multi pking since I have returned.

What I enjoy IRL?

Mainly football(soccer) as it runs in my family. I play at a very high standard every Sunday morning and train 4x per week. It's my main passion in life. I also go to college (too thick for uni) although after my 2year course I should slip right into 3rd year degree work. I hope to go on to complete a PHD in sports science. I also have an addiction for fizzy drinks, some of my favorite's being irn bru, lemon fanta, orange fanta, fruit twist fanta, dr peper and coke. I also used to play competitive Call of Duty on console. I grew out of that after being let down by the game after Cod4 which in my opinion was the best xbox360 game followed by h3.

we're the best clan out side the top 2. this clan was made correctly the way a pure clan should be made. when our combat averages get better so will our numbers and then we will start stepping on peoples toes.

Wouldn't the more skilled map be plat since it's symmetrical? Obviously you want wars to be more about skill and less about random advantages? Classic is unsymmetrical which means one side will always have an advantage?
