ct will def become succesfull. i dont really think eop will come back seeing they ****** of 2 strong clans. ct will definitely be hitting eop once they get numbers. if the fatality staff grow some balls and quit babbling about what they should do and become more aggresive, maybe then will they start hitting clans that ****** em off and finally do some damage. its better than hitting clans they have no business with. remember what happened with dp? wheres that fi pride man.

Whats the point? So we can feel more self-important? I don't really give a **** about how random 13 year olds view me on an online game.

 

And for all your text walling and such that i actually bothered to read, you didn't offer any reasonable suggestions as to what we could do to increase our communities exposure so the rest of runescape.

 

The best way to get your clan known among pures is to pk regularly. If your clan dominates small teams in the major pking worlds every day, all the multi pkers, and in turn many of the edge pkers are going to know who you are, what your cape is, who your leaders are, etc etc.

 

The more people that know about individual clans, the more people introduced to our community as a whole. But as for trying to introduce people to our community externally, and not through recruiting them to a actual clan, i can't see it happening, because all the clans would have to work together to make such a thing work, and frankly i don't want to work with the majority of the clans because i dislike nearly all of them, bar a few.

the point is we can turn this community around, think of how people will change once we are more exposed. Clans will become more succesfull and bigger and there will be more and funner events, new people coming in and changing the way we do things, making it more fun. Possible jobs man, i would LOVE to clan for a living lol and that is possible because i see a great money making opportunity in this, once this **** takes off and we can show these companys and big corporations that this **** is popular they will see the sponsorships, they will get interested, but thats maybe 5-15 years down the road.

both mm and eop have done some dirty ****, its only karma but it has to stop somewhere along the lines, maybe one day when people grow up we will never see this again,

I 'unno man. I think we are, unfortunately destined to remain a 200-300 active community. Which in the grand scheme of things is actually very good, albeit there are many opportunities for expansion. As I said in my initial post, we are content with our isolation.

I dont like it at all. We should be way more popular than we already are.

But let's be fair, we can hardly settle on rules of engagement in mini wars, let alone coordinate an attack against a mutual enemy.

Let's just say if MM & Foe allied and took on a decent leveled Main clan and wiped 'em out a few times people would begin chitter chattering about pures a bit more :>

I agree that we arent as well known but foe and mm are very well known. They are known in the pure community as well as the main community, even eop and tlp are.

 

The only clans that are not well known or giving big publicity are ones that are smaller clans, med clans.

well yes but thats not the idea im trying to get at. Im trying to get people to publicise the WHOLE pure community, every clan. I know that foe and mm and eop and tlp are pretty public but the people that know about them arent ever involved. Its because our usual uploads are just us fighting eachother. These people dont know whats going on so how would they understand? once they get the idea it will explode in their minds man.

In fact, considering that (5 PK Videos a year is overkill by the way). We should reach out to Machinima - Get a Pure representative (From this community) onto Machinima, somebody who is talkative and funny, there's a Malice member in particular that could do the job.

A project of this magnitude would have to be executed correctly. Are you suggesting the earnest lies with clans or Pure Warfare to ensure the expansion of our community? Personally I feel it's a combination, however a larger proportion of the responsibility should be on clans - let's face it, would Pure Warfare survive without clans? No.

 

If you are indeed suggesting that the growth/inflow of members is reliant on clans then what do you suggest they do? Assert themselves onto the likes of RuneScape Community and RS Official Forums? I tried that with Elysium and it didn't particularly work. The biggest difficult with bringing new members into our community from external sources is that they're plainly stupid. All of us were once twelve, starting out in the pure community; like me you were probably recruited ingame onto a clan forum (In my case MM boards in late 05) and from there you've expanded onto PC/PW. Ok I digressed a bit.

 

What do you ultimately suggest Clans/We/PW do? Go and **** on Youtube with videos? No, that's been done. What the pure community lacks (In my opinion) is serious ******* monopoly. Somebody who not only controls clan fights and has a massive influence in the community, but a clan that has reaches outside of our domestic environment; IE a clan renowned for providing a service, whether it be forum hosting or something. I don't particularly want to divulge my ideas, but I've been planning on creating an iPod/App Store application specifically targeted at clans, which would be branded under Malice's name, free download (income through adverts). I haven't done much research on how many RuneScape apps there are but as long as it sits at #1 with a big ass MALICE RSMALICE.COM sign on it people will visit the site. Perhaps Pure Warfare should commandeer this idea, put the wheels into motion and top the chart for RuneScape apps on Apple's App Store.

WELL these pkers and rs youtubers became popular solely from pk videos and commentarys. I know we have done the same and our videos are by far more entertaining, i think we should simply put more videos up. instead of maybe 1 pk video a year for a clan how about like 5? how about we go to maybe chris archie or gross gore and our own famous youtubers to advertise their clans and in the introductions of their videos maybe have a pure warfare sig in the beginning and the site and everything. People will be interested and actually go to the site. I think a bigger inflow of members into pure-warfare alone will get the staff to work harder and be more serious with ****. Im pretty sure these guys would do it. look at failed again and i mahatma i and dimondowner and Bonesaw aka icegiant99. I know for a fact these guys would definitely advertise. These guys have tons of subs and would definitely ensure a increase in popularity.

why do you make a topic like this on a different subject every week?

cause im open minded and i see opportunitys and am very enthusiastic i guess. but does it really matter? things like this promote and work for the better of companys or big money businesses, theres a reason for that.

Well im pretty sure everybody in the pure community knows this. WE ARE REALLY REALLY REALLY UNDER THE COVERS. what i mean by this is that nobody really knows about us and it kinda, actually really annoys me. Guys we are waaayy too good to be this shy. We have clan pk videos that have taken months to make and are ******* genius and very very entertaining, yet they only get like what? 7k views and even with that there is no real results. Compare our media compared to the famous pkers/vloggers/ranters of runescape, they get like what 100k subs and like to the least 30k views a video and we sit here with maybe 1k subs and 400 views a video? i understand our warring clips our only ment for pw topics but really guys. We have worked way too hard to be this much in the dark. These other runescape youtubers are basically known by everyone. You see one of them like nightmarerh walk in edgeville or anywhere and instantly people follow him and panic. Its just ridiculous that we are not known like that.

If this **** gets public, like hugely public then imagine where the pure community can go? sponsorships from machinima, clan channels with ads, Clan leaders walking around rs noticed. This is definitely where we shouldnt be. If you ask maybe 10 people that are pures at edgeville who the best pure clan is, there will probably be about 4 will say "yeah bro dmk f t w" and maybe 5 will say " nah bro its all about MG *****!" and maybe only 1 will mention an actual pure clan who has actually worked to be where its at.

People People Please realize how much we could do, if we publicized ourselves we could be ******* HUGE!

It;s absolutley ridiculous that our community is this under wraps, it sickens me. Look at the opportunitys here people, we could be the new starcraft with like proffessional clans and pkers. This could go ******* huge, we could be like the football of ******* runescape man, people rooting for their own clans and seeing what will happen during the weekdays, people betting on who will win, CLAN MEMBERS BEING PAID BY BIG CORPORATIONS AND COMPANYS TO BE IN A CLAN THEY SPONSOR!

People WAKE UP! We could be taking advantage of this vast opportunity! Too long have i stood by and watch this community not grow and just stay under closed doors. You people wonder why the community isnt even growing that well.
