lets hope mm don't try and claim closing another great clan down again

don't really want to start anything here but couldn't the inactive leaders step down and let new ranks take over? I found it kinda selfish, i believe a founder and a few ranks wanted to keep it open. Why turm them down?

 

Clans like Foe Fi Mm and Tlp have gone through several generations of leaders/ranks i don't see why you and epidemic couldn't.

I guess you have a point here. But i can't speak for DP. However with E, the leaders and high ranks all pretty much quit or refused to take on the responsability of running the clan. Probs the same for DP.

Foe Fi Mm and Tlp are always long lasting and have many ranks that could run the clan. I guess E and Dp were newer and wanted to close on a high, rather than risking leaders that were not up to the job running the clan down the drain

But which mod is going to have the balls to do something about it?

Walli, we were #1 for 6 weeks running. It does not matter how you think we got there, we got there.

This is about "if epidemic were still open..." since i see the competition in the pure clan world has dropped since E closed...

If a topic was made about TH, no1 would flame and get e-mad over it.... so chill out. Epidemic are dead, we all know it. If you don't wanna discuss in a mature manner then don't come to this topic

Simple facts, you lost to plenty of people, your clan become a little bit of a fad for a few weeks, get 20 def under 75cb and see what we can do. Your fad proved to a large extent that def + opts is all f2p is about. Then you got ended and your leadership couldnt hack it so caved in.

 

Only thing i regret about the situation is that Foe was not in the position to shut you down, but thankfully MM was.

 

As for when you teamed with eop, Foe + MM two oldest "pure" clans came out good.

 

So to answer your question you never was #1 then so you wouldnt become #1 now going off a mini with cp.

And epidemic were #1 f2p for like 6 weeks not so long ago, so if the pure community wants to discuss "what ifs" etc then let us? You don't have to post anything, this has nothing to do with you OR your clan.

These day's there are "30 def pures" :). + You don't know if the loyal members will rejoin , because if they're loyal they'll stick to the clan they're in at this point. Otherwise you can't claim to be loyal for your clan and you aren't showing clan pride towards them.

Listen this is my last post on this ****** topic.

 

New clans that have a bit of experience and some well thought out forums and plans create hype. It's new, it's a fresh start for many and it's fun. However when the times got tough and it was time for a shift in leadership and dealing with adversity what happened? You caved. You're clan is closed, stop talking all this **** about it. You're ruining the memories you had by boasting and bragging about this and that.

 

ANY clan that had a very good string of success can close when things get tough, but what separates the men from the boys are the clans that remain open and hold onto their memories and look forward to rebuilding what they achieved even if they can never come close to it again, at least they can say their clan is still open and they are proud to be a part of it.

 

MM- Had a horrible slump at some point I don't remember the exact time but it was when 13th was leading for a while, they acted all buddy buddy and I think for a F2P trip they pulled as low as like 26.

 

FOE- P2P legends were unseen for a string of time but look where they are now?

 

TLP- Has it's up and downs but what clan doesn't?? Look at all the improvement they have made.

 

FI- We pulled 12 to a F2P trip and were on the brink of closing, however our members were so dedicated and loyal we decided to man the **** up and continue on with a completely restructured clan that had an entirely new Leadership and Staff.

 

 

So don't talk to us about how good you were, when you haven't proved ****. Every clan has it's success but it's measured by how well that clan can recover and solid the membership dedication is.

OK - Would you agree if i said that Epidemic had the best community in any mmorpg over the last 5 years?

All E showed is that f2p in this day and age of rs is all about #s or is to a very large extent.

 

Did nothing more than confirm what many people knew already.

 

As far as the clan went, very poor and weak leadership. Potential was there but wasted.

Leadership.... You've only been in one clan?

Ive been in both, and to be brutal, Epidemic was lead and organised 10x better than FOE.

So to conclude.... Epidemic might be the most hated memory of a pure clan for FOE... but why is that? Is that because we achieved something within one year many clans have been trying to achieve for several years?

Would it be fair to say.... The last clan to get #1 for a month+ off MM were Epidemic? And that 120 vs 120ish battles were the biggest in the pure clan history for a 1v1?

Read the quote, I quoted those words directly from your member. Fi members contradicting themselves are they? And like I said, we are the only clan to ever give Mm real competition, enough to scare them into treating every trip like a full out war.

If you don't like what E did then thats fine, 150 + E members loved it at there peak. And we did make MM step up, like it or not, with our organisation and numbers.

I don't play and have not been following the pure clan world lately, but ive heard people have been pulling a lot less and MM have just settled at #1 with no pressure. Just curious what people would say in this discussion.

EDIT: i lol at Walli saying "E were crap" or whatever he said. Matched opts foe won 2-1... why not 3-0?

...The pure clan world is no way near as competative and the pulls are no way near as big.
