It's actually a productive game, not counter-productive lol. If it was counter-productive the game would've stayed the same x_x

Going on the premise people actually want to make something of their lives runescape is counter productive to that goal. I.E you're trying to save money but continually buy stuff that's on credit, you wouldn't look at the product the individual is buying you'd look at the fact that they're buying stuff on credit which is counter productive of the fact they're trying to save money.

When you said counter productive game I understood it as you saying the game isn't going anywhere, not the person's life. Maybe if you said another 6~ counter productive years of their life into this game that would make more sense with what you just explained, but you called the game itself counter productive which it isn't seeing as it is productively trying to target a new audience to play it.

This topic was not just me simply trying to bait FI because of our beef, it's to inform you all that the pure community probably will live through EoC (if everyone likes pure how warring works). So far no one has really prepped so I guess only time will tell.

I quit runescape around 6 months ago.

 

Do I regret it? No.

 

Do I regret pure clanning? Hell no.

 

Some of the best times I've ever had, have been on runescape. Not because of the game, the game is ****. The only reason that I stayed so long is due to the friends I made. I think back to CPR v1. That, by far, has been the best experience while playing a video game, that I have ever had. Moving along, I joined WAR. I had some damn good friends there as well. I moved on to fatality after cpr closed again, and once again, I was with many friends. I'd sit on irc and talk more then I'd actually play this game.

 

The only thing I regret about pure clanning, is the downfall of our community. (which happened quite some time ago)

 

Clans forgot why we play this game. They took to ddossing/being faggots in general. Not pointing any fingers, but some clans were far, far worse then others. To be honest, it was not jagex that killed the game. It was the runescape community in general. The pure community has been dead for quite some time, and yes, this is finally the end. And, honestly, it is what we deserve. Some of you will stay. Most of you will go. I wish you all the best. I'd like to thank all of my friends for making this game somewhat enjoyable for me while I played. Good luck in life everyone.

Nah, RuneScapes communtiy didn't ruin the game.

We first enjoyed the game when we were all like 12 and ****, everyone just grew up. The whole community is like 18-21 now. It's not the same because we're not the same. I'm sure any 12 year old would enjoy the current RS.

well, that's considering the negatives of it.

 

if you really think about it, it could actually mean that every clan will have clean run-ins. just have single on until the run-in, then turn on multi as soon as it starts. if a clan crashes change back to single lol.

 

would erase the sitting in lobby for 3 hours every weekend, as crashing would be essentially pointless. unless you want to hit them in single? o.O

It takes like 5 secs to change between multi and single and it can be disrupted when you get attacked. Which means once you go into multi there is no going back because there is no single areas to run to so you will basically die. There will be no clean run ins but there will be free loot for the crashers. Whoever pulls the most wins pretty much.

It'll be like when the wild was removed, you'll all have to walk around clan wars spamming war us till one side thinks they have enough to take the other.

If red portal: Any clan could crash... wouldn't be long before giant main clans found out about the free loot on sat/suns (pures)

Basically both clans would have to toggle multi on in the wilderness to attack eachother, but knowing the recent stupidity of the community most clans would just keep it on single until the other clan turned it on multi etc and even then 10-20 idiots would keep it on single to prevent death.

So I was reading rsc as usual and came across this:

LS was out pking today in the wild and i couldn't hit anyone cause of my low level and people had single toggled in former multi zones. LS then decided to practice pking in the white portal with surprise we found out that the whole zone was multi. We then went to red portal and easily koed a few noobs for surprisingly large loots reaching over 23m for 8 people. With the whole zone multi will the Red Portal become the next place for clans to war?

BTW for those thinking that crashers can easily pick you off by standing near the entrance. You can log into another world walk down to the edge of the safe zone and log back into the war world and you will be away from all crashers

Robin h 0 d recruited me to eop from world 20 hill giants back in the day.

I was in a old school main clan for a few months before that so I knew the basics of clans, just not much :P.

MM: Funnest clan to rivalry vs, because just when you think you beat them in the rivalry, they come back with even more. This has been proven rivalry after rivalry. I used to think it was chance but I've seen it happen to FOE, E, EOP, CP, FI, anyone who really stepped up to the plate to take #1 in F2P.

FOE: The "we don't care about certain things" was really your down fall, you guys gave up too quick in f2p after losing 1-2 saturdays so decided to cancel, it showed a lot of weakness in your leadership. However you always stood strong in P2P.

FI: Although I never had the proper opportunity to lead Goop vs Addy Daddy, it was fun. Addy Daddy learned a lot and helped FI progress. Which is a thumbs up.

TLP: Bff's, Unlike foe they never 2faced me. Although the neutral friendship was cut off half a year ago due to solo k1ng being arrogant, we are friends again! I believe we'll on good terms until clossure. I <3 cory and he <3's me, your other members of your leadership are also pretty cool wiff me.

CP: Was following EoP up in matched opts for a while, then surpassed us, good job. I believe you guys will stay a contender for that spot for a while 2.

Looks really fun, spent over a dozen hours testing things in EoC it looks like 1def is going to need 99hp for that 4khp, and people will need at least 34def to deflect a stun, gl to all clans that go into EoC and to all of those who are adapting, hope clans can have a fresh start and leave all the hate behind in rs2
