When I was actively in a clan, the reason I attended trips was just to help the clan out mostly.

Most people might talk abut the illusion of having fun but the pure community doesnt allow true fun anymore, with hiding, lobbying, ddosing, crashing, refusing to even have event out of fear/ pride, etc.

Rather not live on campus for the university I go to. Much nicer to find cheap student housing - but meet your roommate before you move in ; )

Most my friends in 2nd year said they regretted living in residence because they never got any work done. Obviously your gunna spend your weekends getting ****** up but when it becomes daily routene your not going to function.

Also it depends on your major. Im in hard sciences. If my major was psychology or some other bs like that id get drunk erry day lol.

If I allowed myself to listen to more than 5 seconds of a runescape rap, i'd loose a lot of respect for myself.

Games dont age well, scape should have lost its popularity years and years ago. The pure community is a sith pool mostly

People rave that they stay in their clans because its "an amzing community", but honestly in games like starcraft people are so ridiculously nice before matches its insane. You have commentary videos and sc2 tournaments where the top player wins 10s thousands in $s and everyone has a blast - the players and the fans. RS is such a bad game compared to others, I cant stress that enough

Although I exploited a f2p method of training legit on my pure and got 1-100 for free at 3 combat. On jet it was pure team dunging from day 1 when it came out. I remember how much fun the skill used to be - training it reminded me of the uniquieness of 2005-06 runescape

Because 30 defence turmoil is ******* stupid and gets raped 1v1. I honestly don't see why clans can't either allow 40 defence or go back to 1-20 defence. It would be a lot easier.

 

I mean even if we all agreed to go to pk trips in monks robes and have 1 def cap fights, it would still be like our original warring style. I was 30 defence on my rune pure for a while and I just don't see the point in it.

The thing is Jagex came up with turm with the intensions to stop people from making pure accounts. They never liked the idea of an imbalanced combat type account in the beta runescape RSC so they had their clever development team set to work.

To anyone who thinks its a coincidence high level gloves, prayers, and weapons (ie - HC, korasis) require defence to weild is just silly

Currently the best "lowest" defence pking account build is a zerker pure with turmoil. Jagex will wait for enough pures to get turm and 42-45 defence until they come up with another update that benefits you greatly at ~50-60 defence.

Anyways, I always teled when I was in pure clans cause no 1 really cares or has cared for the past few years. The people who take its seriously kind of live in worlds of their own

1-64 requires more gold charms then crims lol

cannon moss or fire giants for 1-50 or w/e

then do waterfiends for ~50+ or burst lobs for mage exp too

Ppl make these topics every winter, then in summer 15 new clans get made and its like "OMG Runescape so fun l0l0llololol".

 

Then its winter again and kids go to schoo again

this time last year 3 clans were pulling 100+ to trips, and others pulled lower but in relation to that. Many clans had 50's 60's even 70's. This year 60-70 is the max pull, and all others are -50, even with less clans in the community.

 

We are slumping, not just in pulls but the community's worse. Pulls are just an actual number proof to base it off of.

Those numbers aren't that drastic though. Ive been doing this same old thing for 5 years and its been way worse. The pure world simply goes through ups and downs.

Although I dont really like or play this game anymore, id say its got a long way to go to seeing the death of the pure clan world. But if you saying the pure world is dead by meaning its immature, boring, and repetitive - id totally agree.
