First GFX

Recommended Posts

Here are some of my first tries at GFX, all using the same image.

Stock (Is that what it's called?):

First attempt, used a gradient on the background, nothing special.

Second one, used hatton's guide on this one but obviously failed miserably.

Last one, redid the first one but added the flowers and grass, and changed border to white.

Tips/advice or whatever would be appreciated. Constructive criticism only please, and yes, it's Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley.

Ok, don't give me any credit for rendering the stock :<

Anyway, just keep using tutorials and try to create your own unique effects. When using C4Ds, you can use the eraser tool to erase over the focal (the main area people look). Try setting some gradients to add some color :)

Quit the forums; my channel: #Phillip

really good for your first attempt :D

keep doing what your doing. soften up your stock just a tad and lighten up the focal with a light source and it would look pretty cool with some smudging or brush strokes (:

keep it up!
