Awesomeness, I was busy elsewhere but regretting it now :ermm: Also excellent manuevering on the last fight vs eop. When hf crashed fi neatly took the eastern flank out and made it to clan wars killing the remaining eop on the way. Was awesomeness. Usually it's up to the ranks of a clan whether a clan succeeds or fails. Three bad weekends in a row can destroy the momentum for any clan. When the trips suck less people will go to the trips. When less people go to the trips, but the clan is still forced to fight the same clans they were fighting earlier, they keep on losing and eventually half of the clan will just stop trying while the other half makes topics like "WTF IS THIS?!?" This is the most common way for a clan to slump. Of course there are other factors like hackings, key leaders quitting, losing important wars, etc.

Pure world was at its prime in 2005-2006 and there were maybe 7-8 competing clans total. PCT failed this year because it was organized poorly, gf walli. Personally I haven't had much fun with pure clans since wildy died. Fix that please.

What a piece of **** topic, sad to see where EOP is going in terms of maturity. You flame a clan for not giving you fights with half your opts, as if you wouldn't do the same. I don't understand how you can even talk about slumps after slumping for basically 2 years straight(since you lost full out vs FI in -08), you're not making any friends with topics like this and it will cost you dearly when your 15 minutes of glory are over. Also thanks for the bank today EOP, prolly killed your returners more than all other clans combined :happy:

EOP by far. FOE has improved their pulls but I'm guessing their trips aren't any better because of it. It's lonely on top if you pull 30% more than the next clan.

I think reddies was a masser team a few years back that people confused with EOP. Pure community today = 08-pkers spreading wild rumors. ^ I think this is about right. EOP did close once (into FI) so you can question their age. Also FOE was FO before. FI history has detailed information on the birth of many pure clans since 2005, a bit by yours truly. I don't think the ages of current pure clans really matter at all because there are barely any people still playing on pures who played around 2005. I wonder what a true old school list would look like, showing the average clan experience of the memberlists of each pure clan... now there's a challenge for someone.

To set it straight, FI has had no clans "close into us" as in a merge, there is only one way to join FI and that is by applying and going through the application process. It's as much of an argument as to say that soul wars closed into foe because you get a lot of apps from sw. Anyway, a lot of old school pkers have decided to apply for FI lately, I can't blame them from my own experience (5 years soon). I don't personally like the idea of people applying in bulks but hopefully you can all fit in the clan you go to and have a jolly good time of runescape :happy:
