This topic is brought to you by Runescape Community's pure clan of the year 2011
And the biggest clan IRC on the swiftirc network:
No topics or nuffin and coming off a narrow p2p prep loss to foe yesterday we had it all to do today, and we came out in style, chef hats and all, and dropkicked MM out of the wilderness and onto their foreheads, smashing them in both encounters we had, leaving them to sit in edge spamming round 3, only to walk down to level 1 and end when we came out after them for a 3rd fight. FOE had spammed their irc telling their members they were going pirate hunting, only to pull 45 and fight lilguy clans, while everyone else we attemped to fight logged out on sight, leaving MM the only lambs to our slaughter, and there was plenty to go around: Picture of the day: MM standing in single spamming "EoP running" while we stand in multi
For the first hour of our trip we pretty much chased the usual suspects around, rushing to name a few; Fi, TLP and CP, all of whom unfortunately either logged or ran to single as soon as they saw the red cloaks on the e-horizon. This was getting kinda boring, so after a while we decided we'd bank up and give our old pals the Mayhem Makers a fight. Eruption of Pures vs Mayhem Makers
MM had a few more than us, we had 59 in range while they had close to 70, but seeing as no-one else was fighting us today we said meh and gave it a go. We went out to corp and logged, only for Zenith to hit us as we were doing so. We logged back in and cleared them (lol), and then with their minions dead, MM rushed us east of corp. We dominated the early stages of the fight as our corrupts unit (cheers Jacob for handing some out) banged out anyone that got dragged into us. We complimented this by pulling back north towards piper to spread them out, which worked perfectly as their rangers stayed at dwarves sniping while anyone with melee ran right into us and got knocked the **** out. Our returners had a diasadvantage as TLP's 20 man week prep pull to a mand trip sat near corp sniping us, but it didn't matter because everytime an eop members gets close to a tlp member they instinctively log out to lobby.
MM realised they were nearly done and began pulling back towards mossies to get returners. At this point we could have just ran north and logged like in every fight MM has beaten us in over the past few months, but unlike them we cared more about the fight than the aftermath topic, and hunted them down all the way to mossies and killed any remaining. We heard they had a group around corp so we turned around and slaughtered them too, suddenly there was a lot of rune around and i think it may have been HF, not sure because i didn't really care and pushed the remaining MM to the single at the northeast steps, when Fi logged in (the 3rd clan to attempt to help MM in this fight), but it was too late, with MM cleared we logged out and celebrated our epic win.
Excuse of the day:
(00:24:37) <[MM]13th> tell tayyab to get out of his rune
[10:11:22] -[JS]RuneScript- *** [ DEFENCE ]: [Tayyab] Rank: 633,013 | Level: 35 | Eruption of Pures vs Mayhem Makers
But we weren't done yet! We headed back out and rushed MM in the trees between the graveyard and the ruins. Again we completely dominated them despite having a 6 or 7 man disadvantage, pushing them the whole way east through the trees, then south to graveyard, then all the way back west along the graveyard fence. Again we could have left at this point as they had about 8 people left trying to stall for returns, but we pressed them down south, killing them all the way to about level 15 wilderness, where they met up with their return group. The fight turned around here as they had replenished food and pray, so we began to pull the fight north for our returners to come from the canoe. The fight moved up to the bottom of where gwas ledge used to be, where we then met up with our return group and the fight swung in our favour again. We repeated our domination of MM and forced them into the single where old gwas ledge used to be, and they stood in single spamming "eop running" while we stood just east of them in multi waiting for them to come out.
After a few minutes of MM camping single, we got a fall in and walked around a bit, and MM decided not to try us again, and gave up and walked the walk of shame down to edgeville. A bit embarassing to forfeit in the middle of a fight, your own ranks didn't know wtf you were doing:

Once we realised MM had dipped we went down to bank, and we met MM at the bank, and they spammed "round 3???" at us (if they wanted to fight us so badly why did they ***** out from the last one :P). Anyway, we gladly obliged, and the two clans headed up da wilderness. We stood at corp while MM stood at east drags, and after about 15 minutes of waiting, they turned around and walked back to level 1, logged out and ended, without a word to us :\

Well over 2 hours into our trip now it seemed there was no-one out today able to compete with our organization, despite being slightly outnumbered, so we called an end to our trip. Thanks to MM for the fights and feel free to pm an @OP in our irc #clan-eop for a midweek prep, hopefully after todays beatdown you won't still be worried that "we'll learn too much from you".
