Having an account in a zerker/main clan and not paying another $10+ a month for pure clanning and community isn't appealing for you guys D:? I'd just rather that than being a higher level pure at this point in time trying to say to myself that my account can still do work as easily as any other and still paying for membership <_<

That's seriously all you can say about what I just said? Stop pretending you're better than everyone else for a couple of minutes and perhaps discuss what's been brought up. Otherwise, go lurk a FI topic and continue on the periodfest you guys are having.

I've had 45 defence for the past 3 or 4 months and haven't been in a pure clan for over a year and a half. I'm just trying to give input and have a decent discussion about a popular topic at the moment. Stop trying to be a condescending smartass and get your facts straight before you try and have a go at me ;) Edit: This topic is about whether you believe LPC would emerge after the death of the pure clan world WHETHER OR NOT IT HAPPENS. I couldn't care less about your vaginal disputes every weekend and what the pure world is like at the moment. Please learn to read the topic before you post.

If it actually came down to the fact that pure clans died out because of the bonuses of defence, which will most likely happen, I believe f2p low level pure clans could survive and live once again. Everyone would have their main which was their pure but because low level pures are easy to make and don't take much time, low level clans could form for the pure aspect of pking in large groups and clanning, the accounts themselves wouldn't be used for single pking but just for that pure clan feeling. It would keep that old feeling alive, would be the rebirth of true low level pure clans and members wouldn't be necessary. Because members wouldn't be necessary, what would happen? There's no excuse to get defence for bonuses because there are none in f2p and every whining ***** would be happy. It's a lot easier in my eyes than trying to convince yourself everyday that you're account is better than that of the same combat because it obviously isn't. I'm not saying kill the pure world, it'd just be my option if pure clans died out because it's more logical than trying to keep medium and high leveled pure clans around, especially since pures were originally meant to be low combat. P.s. I support 30 defence in clans at the moment and all that jazz but I also think it'd be epic if there were constant 100v100 fights because of the easy applications you would get. It'd also truly show the best leadership and organisation because stats/bonuses wouldn't be applicable. Discuss?

Wouldn't it be easier if all pure clans allowed 45 defence as it would allow all bonuses and restrict anyone from getting/accepting higher defence because the next bonus is like 70 defence? I'm not saying accept tank rangers as well either, simply 45- defence. People have no excuse to get any higher unless they're getting 15 defence levels for chivalry or 20/25 (iunno which one) for piety, barrows, etc. If it's anything like our current pure world where the defence keeps rising at least you've bought yourselves a good five years :laugh:! Seriously though doesn't 45 defence just seem like a better solution than arguing over what's pure and what isn't? It's a complete lock on further unnecessary defence levels. The only reason to oppose the idea is that you can't adapt or you're a scrub and can't afford return sets. Btw, I don't even know if I believe any of that ********, I just said it to spark some decent discussion and somewhat unique debate.

Funny how FOE are always telling people to chill over a game and yet they're so desperate to take an arguable #1 spot.

As opposed to the 10+ rune pures and tanks you invited to try and beat us during your summer? At least the majority of (the small number we take) our guests are pures mate. P.s. Our IRC was deleted bringing down attendance dramatically last weekend and we've been having troubles with forum hackers recently. Don't get too far ahead of yourself yet.

They should and they're not but two wrongs don't make a right either. Can't just go saying something like "it's because we can't compete with the other pure clans if we lower it" because that's just what individual pures are saying about defence "I can't compete with other pkers without defence bonuses". You can rant about accepting more low defence than any other pure clan as much as you want but the fact is you still accept defence just like any other pure clan.

omfg i hav had 1 atk since rsc ffs and jagex is tryna kill all dese kind of accs by bringin out fukn wips godswords and chaotic weaponz bro. Only reason everyone bitches about it is because they don't train defence. If pures for some reason couldn't train herblore because of a quest they'd ***** about overloads and extremes, too. Considering the circumstances, pures have access to quite a decent arsenal.

Are you stupid? "Making it impossible for pures to fight" and "soon we'll all be raped by rune pures so hard that pures will die out". Even if they're doing it on purpose, who cares? They never intended on the game being based directly around 1 defence. Maybe while they're making all weapons available to 1 defence they can make all weapons the same speed, too. Spastic, defence=combat levels=higher levels with these "overpowered weapons". If anything they're trying to stop them from being overpowered at a low combat by causing people to gain combat levels. Please get over it and realise what you're saying.

The fact that FOE and MM have stuck to lower defence requirements is quite admiral but there is a huge however. If you asked either of the two clans to lower their requirements to 1-10 defence they'd immediately say no because their butt sex feud is far too important to them. Perhaps the two leading pure clans need to rise above their differences and stop being arrogant pricks. Just sayin'.

I think TI needs to just give up already, lol. They came out of nowhere claiming they were #1 miniers since they first opened and get put in their place every single time they try to mini.

If FS are going to challenge CH to a prep and agree to the rules they're now complaining about, I'll give them as much **** as I want tbh. The fact that they'd even have a prep this early against a clan like CH who has cemented a #1 position in the low level clan area (and gaining fast in mid now) is retarded; they'd probably have a better chance against IR or something. It just shows the inexperience and cockiness of the FS leadership and whether or not everyone here likes it, they WILL die soon enough. Stupidity will always be flamed, so once again get over it.

Should be quite missed amongst most people. -Don't know why Carnage would close and re-open, hopefully they don't become a Calamity type clan in terms of closing/re-opening. -Hadn't heard of DF closing at all. -Wasn't aware Ex had closed let alone re-opening. -CY and whatever that DV clan are merging? Cute, can't wait to see it close in a few weeks.

None taken, we don't mini as often as we used to so it's only natural. However, it's not like we ever get asked except by CH just for fun.
