  1. Hacking, hacking and/or being hacked is no laughing matter. More than %75 of the pures whom quit can correlate to this subject, or the matter of being banned. Being hacked / banned often leads to pures quiting rs, usually hacking will lead to the pure's account being ruined. Well here's my story of being hacked time after time, but recentely doing something about it.. After being hacked by a leader of a clan that recentely closed, gee I wonder why? NO, hacking had no direct or indirect relation to the closure of his / her clan, I retaliated. My account was hacked from 25 defence to 41 defence. =( Bank dropped, the entire bank was hacked for more than 40M after spending 20M for 94 mage and about 5M on 60 prayer / 2.5M on my target summoning goal. =( Step 1. After being hacked for everything, I chose to get monk robes and sell them for a pick axe. After mining some 200 pure essence or so, I sold them in order to purchase impling jars.. Step 2. After purchasing impling jars, I obtained a knife and woodcutting axe in order to regain possession of my much needed dramen staff. Step 3. With one inventory of impling jars, my dramen staff, and my will to work , I headed to puro puro. Step 4. One week later I now have a bank of 70M, this 70M will be flipped as I continue to puro puro day after day until I have roughly 400M. Step 5. Flip and dip... Invest 50% of my total net flip profit towards prayer and summoning, soon to be a main. =)
  2. Sometimes, giving up doesn't mean you're weak, sometimes it means you're strong enough to let go. - Quoted from we only own, a good buddy.
  3. Hello guys, I've played runescape for 8 years and recentely quit 4 months ago. However, I still have a little knowledge in the noggin to share with you guys. First, I would like to applaude the averages of all clans taking a substantial rise is in the past year. Many medium leveled clans such as Carnage consisted of averages hovering just above 80, where they are now hovering in the range of 90. To clans such as Carnage, DP, DV, congratulations. Next, a question/comment infused, to create possible controversy. Are present day clan's relying on their averages, levels, and renowned pures to get them recruitment? My personal opinion is... Yes, clans do rely on their averages, clan's do not rise nor fall in one day, but it seems clan's whom open with 30 members and have relatively easy requirements, but extremly high averages do not make it very far because they think they don't have to recruit. However, this is NOT TRUE. I've seen clans start on 2 or 3 dedicated leaders whom have showed true clan pride go farther than clans starting with 30 or 40 members. This is because the leaders feel that "30 members is a good start for our first day." WRONG! If you have 30 members on your first day, your clan isn't succeeding if at the end of your first week open you have 28 members or 32 members. Tribulation, I have no intention on flamming. However, I'm only informing with constructive criticism. Tribulation, you've been open for a couple days. You started in the med 20s and you haven't progressed very far. I feel that you guys have potential and I hate to see you guys aren't on the path to succeeding in present day clan society. Although it is early in your opening, you must get on the right path to climb the ranks. Roman, I read your post and I feel that clans can succeed today, but they will also have a harder time. Many clan's feel they can win mini-war after mini-war and that will provide them a foundation. That is wrong, and usually leads to maybe 2 months of mini-war domination. The reason I am pointing you out is because you had asked if it possible for clans such as yourself to succeed in today? YES IT IS! But many new clan's aren't taken serious because you'll have weak leaders who opened the clan to have a dominating clan, which can't happen overnight. Eventually those leaders who quit their clan in hopes of creating an ultimate clan, fail because they don't want to spend a few weeks building a weak clan into a clan with a foundation. LEADERSHIP reflects on your clan. BUT. Personally I feel clans have no future when they're sitting on 40 members and can't recruit. You need to recruit early. If you're starting with 20 members, you should have 40 members by one weak of opening. By a month mark, you should have at least 35 active members. By a 2 month mark you should have an active memberlist consisting in the range of 70. START EARLY WITH YOUR MANDATORY EVENTS. Weekly events are important. thanks for your time. I know many of you will agree, but you'll have those who are negative who will try to say. "NO YOUR THEORY IS WRONG, IM RIGHT NOT YOU."
  4. gratz guys u guys are going strong!
  5. Iron Legion, a clan that has truely impacted P2P. I was in Iron Legion for 6 months, greatly benefiting from the clan. I was presented with opportunities to enhance my skills overall, thus making me a better pure. I'm proud to say Iron Legion will be beneficial whethet you're old school, new school, or middle school. I'll speak on behalf of Iron Legion any day.
