you guys playing EoC beta? that's what it looks like

Yes there has been a beta, but pure clans haven't been actively fighting week in week out at full power, so you have no idea what they'll do as we haven't had a few weeks for things to settle down and see what's what.

All these lists were a good read except for the people who put E, npo, IR,Tr,H,NME in their list.

Merely being alive for six years is nothing to boast about when you rarely excel.

I won't comment on npo, ir, tr and H as they all seem to be p2p clans, however Epidemic did more in f2p in their existence then clans at number 4 and 5.

I used to love tears of Guthix in 2006 before I started playing pures.

Graphics look pretty sick now.

I remember clans saying EOP have never ever won a full out when i was banned on some topics.

Maybe not against MM/FOE ect but still full outs and the only time I know of EOP/FI fullouting was in 2007 when FI were like 40 mins late or something.

We used to have fun posting on aftermath topics, hell sometimes they could be almost as much fun as the trip.

Good idea though, I think I got unbanned before this update unless you did it earlier and only recently announced it.

You make it sound quite enjoyable if it pans out as you described walli.

(assuming that clans adapt one way or another, so all being 1-10 defence)

I used to theorise on having a 100% melee unit. So say you have 50 people, 20 are all using melee whilst 30 use range. That way you can't easily combat their style as you'll be being hit by both range and melee.

However it could easily be countered as if you focus on the melee people inside you they are easy to pick out. They lose 10-15 people and you could have still most of your clan and just outnumber and destroy the outnumbered rangers. And that's without even having to think about coordinating who is 100% melee and not getting too split which in itself would be hard.

But I'm glad I used my last bit of motivation to chin 96-99 range on my baby pure once I got extreme range. Leaves me in good stead if I decide to come back after EOC update.

If it is worth coming back to and clans flourish, I have similar sentiments to Omni.

Just a shame I cba to train 99 att 99 str 99 mage since combat won't matter in that regards.

you can still have fun clanning, but you get as much out of it as you put in. If you do nothing to help the clan, you won't enjoy it.

Also Evolution of Combat (EOC) as said by the others should be coming, when exactly, not entirely sure I don't read every update but it changes the combat level system Highest stat plus your defence level plus 2 or something. Also your hp lvl is 90% made up by what armour your wearing, so pures = no armour = getting bummed by someone who is like 50 50 50 50 in stats.

Also, can you tell me how the **** you when from Honoured/Elite member -> Moderator -> Elite member -> Member -> Banned ? Or did I list it wrong? I'm so sad that you lost your golden colour :(

I went Member > trial mod > elite member > mod > elite member > banned > member :P

I'd come in from a night out on saturday and would be frustrated that they wouldn't let us spam our topic cause that was really fun, and I made a couple of stupid topics flaming the mods.

Combined with my history of flaming, (baited TB apparently on september 2011, baited CP January 2012, I called someone a dumb **** and a ******* retard I think on a 2 v 2 topic in april, and finally drunken topics in may combined with me procrastinating making a new account to ban evade getting my 3 month ban turned into a IP ban.)

I don't think I'll join a clan, I did read your pm Hippy and just no, not for me. I have no desire to scape (EOC killed my motivation) and I have some reports coming thick and fast to be writing starting in November so midweek is not an option and going out saturday is a killer.
