Believe me or not, but there's a few items which you can technically merch, and no matter how unstable the market is, it'll work. Buy as many purple sweets as you can for like 10 gp above minimum price. Once you've bought them all, sell them like 10-20 gp below mid price. Doesn't take long for it to buy/sell out completely. However, it'd be a good idea to !geupdate every now and then, since those prices have a tendency to go above the min price, making your buy-offer sleeping.

Well, if you intend to PvP/BH also has it fair share when it comes to deciding. From my point of view, put your effort on the magic level if you want to P2P PK succesfully at low level, Strength if you want to F2P and range if you want to stay low leveled pure.
