There's no point arguing, it's simple fact. Microsoft fails. 54% failed consoles out on sale. PS3 produced 12.000 out of 24 MILLION failed products. The products were only the 60Gb version. Extra material such as keypads for instance, was designed and released by PS3 first. Shortly after, Microsoft does. This goes with so many different extra material, PS3 home is another example. Copy cats, for what I'm concerned. Microsoft buys the rights for games, so the game only gets released to Xbox. This is imo, a way of forcing players to purchase their console. No one is going to sell me a Xbox, ever. I hate every inch of it.

I don't know, maybe this is just me, but I don't think it's fair to say what clan outdo another after one weekend. There are so many factors that affect the outcome of a spontanious "random" run-in during that weekend. As far as I'm concerned: #1 Final Ownage Elite/ Mayhem Makers. - F2P wise, MM has been the dominant force for quite some time. We (Foe) faced a loss in P2P against MM which we haven't experienced in a long time. What determines the #1 of these two are down to the individual, "Does F2P outweight P2P or is it the opposite?" Personally, I would say P2P based on the fact that it demands more skills, as for F2P, you technically can only rely on the environment, the opts and the circumstances such as pray/low on food/low run and whatnot. #2 ^ #3 Fatality, but it's hanging by a short thread. They need to start pulling off victories now, or simply get challenged by the #4, whoever it might be. #4, perhaps the most tricky one. One day, Epidemic competes on a level they can't even be classified in. The other day, EOP or TLP runs right over them. What I would like to see is that all three clans challenges eachother, once and for all. Alternatively, one claims the #4 rank, and shows that the clan truelly deserves it by defeating any sort of challenges thrown at them. #5 DV - I see potential one day, and the other day I don't. Dv has the numbers in all fairness, and the skill. I don't know if it comes down to the leaderboard or to the lack of discipline among the members, but I wouldn't, in all fairness, classify DV any higher than this. I'm sorry if I hurt any DV members with my post, I have no intentions of doing so. I'm posting what I think, and hopefully not ending up with a flame fest. #6 Very interesting spot, really. It comes down to the issue at #1. DP and IR. Judging by the posts and claims, IR is the new beast of P2P. Then again, DP had a fine raise in opts F2P-wise, and was still out there one night when most clans are about to call it a day. My advise to both clans are that they should focus on the counter server, DP focus on P2P, IR on F2P. After that, it will clear things up. #7 Here, it comes down to the massive disorganization. Clans teaming together, clans getting back up, clans crashing... In all honesty, I would say LP and CP has the potential of claiming this rank. Malice could be onto it aswell. However, CY has been around nosing on this position. But there's so much controversy and confusion that I believe this spot is out of reach for all clans mentioned this moment. My post here is not intended to set of a flame fest or anything, I tried being as fair as possible and saying what each clans' weaknesses are. If you however felt like I purposely angled or tried to take a shot at any clan, then you're free to report my post. I rather see my thoughts being deleted than ending up with 10 pages of drama.

Okay so recently, we've started to see an increase of practically "pointless" topics. I feel like this whole section is getting too much abused, like it being a safe weapon to try to take shots on clans/members who you simply dislike. I'm fine with people posting the truth about someone/something, but is this the place where it's supposed to take place? I mean, isn't "Clan Discussion" supposed to referr a section where you can post topics like "What clan would you rather join", "what guy from what clan would you like to have" etc etc. What I'm simply asking is to think a bit before posting a thread. "Will I hurt the image/feelings of this person or his/her's clan?" Once again, the majority of us join Pure-Warfare to avoid the biasness, immaturity and inactivity of the admins. Now we're just turning into what we wanted to leave. Globalisation is a pain in the ass, isn't it? :D

Chosing a clan is far from easy, believe me. It's not like you go "hey, I'm gonna join a clan, I'll just google/youtube one", no, when you apply for a clan, you must feel welcome or otherwise it's just a plain pain attending trips, entering the #channel and so on. The whole idea of searching, it narrows down and clans can show what they can offer for you. I understand that most people just are drama-whores to be fair, but some are actually in the need of help.

Okay, I guess this has to be done sooner or later...So here we go. I'm Carl, I'm 17 years old and my home is in Finland. (Captain obvious is reporting for duty.) I have been playing on pures since the middle of -04, and F2P until joining Foe. I have a fine share in pure clans and how they work, seeing as I have never been on a main for 3 years now, aswell as I joined my first ever pure clan around this time. Currently, I'm in the middle of my matriculation exams first try, hence my somewhat low activity RS-wise. I'm currently an officer of Foe, as high as a regular member can be on the hierarcy without having leadership authorities. That being said, I'm h-op and have limited moderating abilities on Foe-rs.com. Before I joined Foe, I was a Mith-God of TGG, a senior member, so to speak. My first clan overall was called DP back in the day, a low level'd masser clan which could be found in W50, wearing priest gowns. (No, not Destructive Pures.) After serving a month or two as a loyal member of DP I moved on to a similar masser clan called "C0Z", only we wore red capes. After that, my internet died and I didn't return to RS for 3 months. Upon arriving back, things had changed and I was left as a no-namer, and no one remembered me anymore. Working up from nothing, I joined another masser clan called DS, Death on Site, which was quite close to DP, only that the leadership was a bit weird. After getting backstabbed on several trips, I gave up and decided that it was time for me to try out leading myself. I joined BD. I rose up to becoming co-leader within weeks, and despite being a no-named clan, we peaked at 200 opts one day, all 30-50 combat levels, lol. However, I became leader shortly after BD started to die out, but I managed to pull off a 12-2 Win/loss ratio until I officially declared BD dead. After that whole scenario I went through lots of clans. None of the masser clans fit me anymore, so I decided to kick it back and enjoy scaping in general. I started to merch, and soon found out how to make money scamming. I team-scammed with a friend of mine (who I haven't seen for over 2 years), and we earned millions after millions, and F2P only. However, after all those messages of crying, I felt bad and decided to quit the whole thing before I'd end up banned. I somehow ended up rejoining DS once again, although I had sworn myself to never join them. I achieved 2nd degree co-leader, but after the rise of small time clans, the opts died out, joining and creating new small islands of clans and one day, I decided that this was it, I had done my share of work. --- Short break for increased momentum --- After the whole scene of this and that, I felt that I needed to belong somewhere, I needed a real clan. So I googled for one week straight, looking through all differents clan's websites and Runeheads. I stumbled across TGG one day, and read some history of TGG. I applied as an FA, and was along with Tom (Manaana) the longest remaining FAs. We were officially FAs for months, lol :D I enjoyed TGG, I met several great people there. Three stands out most today though. Karl, PW's founder, was one of the few OPs in #TGG that I got to chill out with, seeing as he was one of the few GMT leaders, and I am of course GMT +2, so...Anyways, Tom, or Manaana, is today my longest running RS friend, and I couldn't be happier about it. He has helped me through rough times, aswell as I have helped him. HH R4nger, we had our fine moments, as fellow landsmen, we always got into trouble with our private chats in #TGG or outside of the CC. :D Still miss him. Upon TGG's closure in 08, 16th of August if I remember it right, I applied as a FA of FOE. My first ever trip as a member of FOE, during the era of PCL. :D PW-wise, there has been question raised. "Who am I/Why am I a honoured member?" I answered to your first question right there, but the reason of my honourable status is that, despite I was the 20th member of PW, I am the 5th member of PW. Also, I was helping Karl out alot with picking skins and giving my opinions on sigs, design and layout of Pure-Warfare. The reason I am currently 20th was because I got removed for reasons I don't know, but I re-joined because Karl threatened to do me without lube, so yeah...what can one do? I suppose an IRL pic would be in order aswell. :O Both pictures were taken last spring when we had a school trip to Russia, S:t Petersburg. Was mighty fun drinking and roaming the hotel hallways. :D Just meh :P

All right, recently, I've been thinking a bit in terms of my position in Pure-Warfare aswell as my posts. I came to the conclusion that I have posted and acted to biased for a person of my rank. I wish to apologize mostly to MM and Fi for some of my posts, they have been regarded as flame bait and maybe even flames. Some have taken them perhaps more serious than others, while the rest couldn't care less. I realized that I wont achieve anything by that. I felt like I should be the bigger man in this whole drama, and admit some of my mistakes. For the future, if you happen to become a honoured member of Pure-Warfare, try to avoid being the one to post topics like these. Many of us joined Pure-Warfare because we wanted to get away from the flaming, biasment and random faggotry on Purecommunity. What better way to destroy the image of Pure-Warfare would there be if a person like me acted the exact same way they do on Pure community? Unacceptable. I will from now on try to avoid posts that would seem harmful. Also, there's a concept that everyone of us must understand. In a run-in, there are a minimum of two factors, two clans. BOTH clans will experience the same story, only from another view. That's the whole issue here, really. I saw one thing in a run-in, while the opponents saw another. Only possible way of determine the actual event would to place some sort of judges in the middle, vidding everything... Nonetheless, once again, apologies to mainly the MM and Fi members.
