exactly here let dumb it down for you

 

so lets say you go to sleep at 12am right?

It hits 2 am.. the clocks roll back an hour right?

Then its 1 am.

 

So you have been sleeping for 2 hours but the clock has only reached 1 am. thus adding an extra hour of sleep
