Should extremes be permited in PvP?

Yes, if you can't use extremes take out dung, take out curses/turmoil, take out korasi's and get rid of all pvp items.

I'd be so happy if they did this. Curses/Turmoil is so annoying, a long with the over powered weapons.

How does this make sense either, come on guys think about what you are saying.

Turmoil you need prayer, prayer = combat stat.

Combat stats are ment for nothing more than what? Combat.

As annoying as it is I agree I can't stand turm

it doesn't make sense to remove it though.

Korasis is what? a quest item.

Taking it away would be like removing dds, dlong, dscim and all those other quest rewards.

PvP items, cheap moves sure, but obtainable by anyone, these staying or going wouldn't really matter.

When it comes to extremes, dung, same thing I've been saying this entire post lol.

At that logic, they should just balance the over powered weapons then. It hits WAY to high.

You're failing to realize Runescape isn't designed for pures, thus damage soaking with all the new high hitting abilitites. The whole point of a pure is to be able to dish out the most dps as possible. I remember once upon a time 3 hitting was a common thing, this is probably as close as we can come to that without going back to RSC. I'm for everything that makes you hit higher.

i know what you mean, they deffinitely messed with combat and buffed defence way before the soak update. if there's something that can help me hit higher to level the playing field against people with higher defence; i'd spend my cash to get it. but at the same time, it's available for them and could become standard for everyone eventually. meaning they'd hit higher and more consistantly than they already do on me which wouldn't be fun lol.

i mean it was taken out for a reason the first time it was introduced but thinking about it, i'd be down to use them against people my combat that are usually tanks or rune pures. it really depends though, people think the update will change pking to how it was with less overpowered ****, but it wont unless they restrict most of the new items that let you hit so high. if they strip away pvp gear etc. and most of the new stuff it will balance combat. then extremes might be alright for everyone to use. if that happens i think extremes would be fair and i'd get my herblore up straight away ;p

balance is the key, it doesn't have to be logical when you realise we're talking about jagex here haha. they've restricted the herblore skill right now to balance hits. if things get nerfed a little there might be room for extremes then

They scratched it because kids complained that Herblore wasn't a combat stat, yet dungeoneering is? Jagex is contradicting themselves.
