I used to pk with a small team. now i usually just solo at edgy or do drags. my stats are actually pretty gud for solo pking because i never SW'd or PC'd. 91 hp at 86 cb :)

69 combat during this vid, and for everyone's information, this isn't just some pure fighting pures in Edgeville. If anything I fight mostly mains, and I pk all around castle/stealing creation area as well.

To be honest it annoys me when people make pures for the **** of it and never PK, all they want to do is train. Every time I have to ask, why even make a pure? If you really enjoy training, defense offers plenty of conveniences that pures can't enjoy. I mean the entire idea behind pures is PKing. Training them up is supposed to be the annoying part.

So I logged in after the update, and I had 100% EP lol

Normally I'd say I'm pretty lucky with drops, totaling 13 corrupts, but lately I've been more than disappointed. I'd say for at least the last 2 weeks, my drops have been steadily worsening, and I'm not getting anywhere near the steady 200k/per drop loot I was PKing when BH released. I suspect JaGeX may have a hand in this, but I wanted to get some second opinions first.

Is anyone else getting noticeably worse loot than when BH released? And if so, do you think JaGeX may have been involved somehow by "updating" the drop potential system without informing us?

And yes, before you ask, I'm always risking 25k+.

You'll get used to it I think; (the new hp bar) Usually you just switch when people are at around 1/4 of their bar; it shouldn't be much different and in fact should be easier to tell when they're at that much.

 

I, for one, didn't like having someone being 'redbarred' on 3hp. It just got annoying.

I redbarred on 3 with the old bar lol. BTW I've changed my opinion of the HP bar, it isn't so bad now

I must say how much I hate the new HP bar. Completely throws me off when PKing - I'm way too used to the old HP bar to judge when to eat, as well as using opponents HP bar to sort of judge when I need to switch...

I have always been a fan of F2P Castle/Hill Giant PKing - which is a dominant reason behind why I built my stats to hybrid as well as possible, as well as maximize my hitpoints. I notice a good many new pures have built their accounts using soul wars, which leaves there hitpoints substantially less than the rest of their stats. I feel as if this almost restricts their accounts to PKing in low level wilderness in solo areas, which is fine, save for the the amount of 1-itemers that also occupy these areas.

I guess the question is: Where do you prefer to PK, and how have you modeled your stats to reflect that?

I already lagged a ton when there were like 6 worlds for f2p... now I don't even stop lagging until I am halfway to castle. I can't even imagine what makes them think it's a good idea to eliminate as many PK worlds as possible, especially when it's impossible to use them to RWT anymore...

Yeah I share Scribbb with a friend, he's gotten corrupt twice off me when I told him to kill me with 26k lol.

This would be a very boring game if everyone was forced into honor... I can agree with the 5-10 second rule after a kill, but that's about it

I was going to do a regular gallery like I used to, but I don't care about rune or any of that other F2P crap anymore lol, so here's all or most of my corrupt kills since I started up PVP worlds. Got 12 total so far, all F2P.

Well, I was wondering how long it would take for superheat to get popular. I only ever did it for smithing really, because I train magic with damage spells and profit from monster drops. Found a new place to smith though which I will not be sharing with anyone lol.

(took me 2 weeks of inconsistent smithing to go from 61-72)

360 is my favorite. The only thing I don't like about it is their new dashboard layout. They also completely copied Nintendo's Mii's, and now feature their own ****** version. As far as gameplay goes, I prefer these controllers, prefer the XBL online setup, and enjoy the better-than-decent graphics that come with it. As far as exclusive games go, I'm not a fan of Gears or Halo 3 either, doesn't make me like the system any less :P

Nintendo has come out with some excellent Wii games, but that'll only last for so long. When you end up getting bored of the remote and switch to controller games, it will likely lose its' appeal.

As for Ps3, this console wasn't exactly an improvement of the latest PlayStation technology. Sure they buffed up the graphics, but hey, that's what movies are for.

Good luck selecting ranks then. Just remember how foolishly Sefket ran his forums, ranked mainly FOE members when it opened, then after he started ranking members of other clans, did nothing to stop their regular abuse of power. Basically take a long look at how he ran things, so you don't make the same mistakes. If this site works, which in all honesty I don't expect it to, then good luck.

If these forums appear biased at all they'll likely die faster than PC"s first 10 attempts at a forum. I'd suggest ranking only clanless pures with no accounts in any pure clan...
