I just don't see how you put your faith in something that you can't see, hear, smell, touch, feel (arguably), etc. It's not logical to me. Sure there's alot of unexplained things in this world and I'm not saying that we can rely on science to solve everything, there will be unexplained phenomenons in this world but religion?

Random C4D's. Bad lighting. Bad text. Try to create a flow and know where your light is and isn't. Your 2nd version is much better. You need to make sure though that you pay equal attention to your BG and FG;if you don't your BG will simply be blurred figures and nothing interesting and the only good part of your tag will be your focal. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it would mean your overall tag lacks quality.

What Volt said but I'll give you the reasons: The bottom left you added some bright red c4d's. They look out of place and just clutter the tag. Remove them. The sudden change from wall to blackness (without any transition) doesn't look nice. Overall your tag is just messy. There is no flow, it's just random effects.

It's good and I see you tried to do something with the light. When creating a tag (or signature), you want to realize what colors are in your focal (or render/stock). In your specific render, you have Master Chief. He is green but there is a light reflecting off the left side of his body which has an orange tinge. Right off the bat you should know that green and orange should be used in your tag (orange more-so as the lightsource on the left side). From there you can choose more colors that match if you wish, to give some diversity. Identifying which colors work and which don't make or break a sig, simply because if it's not attractive it isn't really good. Also you might want to look into some text placement tutorials. My main CnC is to familiarize yourself with the tools of Cs3 before attempting to create anything. If you learn the purpose of the tools you wish to use, everything will fall into place.
