The screen was very small, I didn't know how to make it bigger since it was my first vid on camtasia

 

Keep the editing dimensions 1280x720

 

Go to Zoom n pan, untick the option that maintains aspect ratio, right click the vid and snap the video to edges (assuming you have the same version of camtasia as me)
