FIFA World Cup

Recommended Posts

I see the final being Brazil vs Spain, and even though Spain could be missing some key players (Iniesta, Xavi, Torres?) they also have players like Fabregas coming in off the bench. I'll say Spain win 2-1, with David Villa and Fabregas scoring.

Where did you get your info from Spain missing key players? Iniesta will recover just in time for world cup, Xavi was never injured neither was Torress lol

I'm cheering for Spain and Argentina mainly because I'm a Barca fan

I read it somewhere I don't recall where though. >>

Xavi is injured though he says he'll be fit for the World cup: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/soccer/2010...454509438_x.htm

And Torres is recovering from Knee surgery but he also says he'll be match fit for the WC.

So my information wasn't incorrect, but not as bad as I thought.

Yea my apologies I didn't know about Torress as I don't follow EPL as much as La Liga, Xavi has a 3 cm tear but is crucial part of Barcelona and has played last remaining games, hopefully he stays fit for the world cup too.

This will be such a great month  (June 11- July 11th)

was gona say France had a chance, but dont understand why they left out nasri and benzema

Because Benzema has been nothing above mediocre in Madrid, not much scoring, not much playing time, not in form for world cup play. Don't think France had a chance anyways.

I liked Germany to surprise a little, but without Ballack not really. I'll give it to Brazil, Kaka has things to prove. Spain would be my second choice.

Let's watch USA get to those quarterfinals for all that preparation can be put to work in a first round exit!@

mmm, yeh Benzema is still a big name not to have in the world cup, he has talent ...who knows... the World Cup wouldve probably kickstarted his career again, if he found his form there.

Football is funny like that. And saying that, I think alot of footballers once, they are at real madrid are just a shell of what they had been in their former clubs, except a few.

But yeh, Nasri not going? He had a good, if not great season for Arsenal.

Brazil.

Kaka is back, and is 100%. Lucio is still Captain. Fabiano and Robinho again had good years. Josue, Elano, Baptista and Silva are just too good together. Silva, Gilberto and Lucio are some of the worlds best defenders, and then there's supersub Daniel Alves with Cesar in net..

If not Brazil, then Spain, depending on Villa/Torres and Silva/Xavi. If Valdes ***** the bed in net, then theres always nIkKER Casillas.

Argentina most likely won't make it past the quarterfinals because Romero had a terrible year and is still kinda injured from what the **** I don't know.. and there backup is poo. Portugal will probably make it to the quarters.

Italy will be out in the semis.. Why on the **** of earth did they get rid of Grosso and Totti..?

How bout those All Whites l0l
