SwiftIRC is the most widely used, clans use it day in day out, so it's far more convenient than having a PW IRC server.

dont really know much but they was doing alot of work on it before, and i believe its newer coding than that of swiftkit. If/when it does come out I would give it a try, never know it might be a success.

Clans won't switch their channels from SwiftIRC to a new server. It's not convenient, plus some people are in main clans as well as pure, so they'd need two IRC servers open, which yet again, isn't convenient.

He doesn't mean our own server, he means a client with IRC embedded into it - which is why we're affiliated with SwiftKit.
