Hello and welcome to Pure Warfare's next public community event - the 2v2 Hybrid Tournament. Most of you are probably used to massive clan based events (such as Red vs Blue) so I thought it's time to give members an opportunity to prove themselves as individuals. Each and every member has the opportunity to participate in this event. This tournament will consist of four separate brackets. The brackets are as follows: High Rollers - There will be an entry fee and a cash prize for winning. Only the bravest will enter this bracket. Mains - Anything goes. Pures - Teams with a total combat level of 165+ may join this bracket. 'Lil Pures - Teams with a total combat of 164- may join this bracket. Information Clan membership is irrelevant. (Your team-mate does not need to be in the same clan as you.) Each team-mate must be a member of this community. Your RuneScape Adventurer's Log must be public. Best of 3 per round. Map: Classic Time of each round will be determined by myself or the events team. Failure to arrive results in a forfeit. All brackets except High Rollers will take place in Safe Clan Wars. The registration deadline is Tuesday, August 16th by 6:00PM (Eastern Time). The brackets will be constructed and announced on Monday, and battles will begin that week. Yes, I think 1 defence is the only real option for a pure. On my first pure (Feared Scimy), I got 2 defence by accident and felt like a failure for the rest of my pure career. Were you really spying for Zenith? I feel as if they wouldn't do that without sufficient evidence. I've never once used game battles. It's a site where you get ranked by doing private matches against other teams, right? I've heard there's some issues over the losing team being able to claim a win (sound familiar?). As for the headphones - no... I've only ever heard of... turtle beach? or something? Are Astro a40s good? ... what? 'course I like cheese.

As long as we have a community that needs us. Unless somethinghappens that forces us closed, we'll keep this open as long as it's wanted. I believe that's when PW would be required to take some sort of stand against defence in pure clans. That's where we, as a community, hold the line of what clans are able to use our boards. Clans that accept such defense would not be able to use our features that are exclusive to pure clans (clan leader boards, clan advertisement, clan trip topics, etc). Somewhere around $50.
