We're doing all we can to help shift the community in a more positive direction. If you understood the amount of hateful PMs we get for every action we do or don't take, you'd have some idea of how hopeless the situation is.
If we take action against a user for posting flame or something of that nature, they (and usually other members from their clan) immediately PM us (not just the staff member who acted, but all staff), calling us names and accusing us of purposefully targetting their clan. What they don't realize is that 95% of warnings are given out without knowing what clan the poster is in.
The demand we warn other users who were involved in the flame, and claim we never issue warnings or punishments to clans A, B or C. This is amazing because there is no possible way they can see who we do or don't warn, and in most cases, the users they claim we are coddling have also received warnings to their accounts.
On the other hand, if we don't issue warnings, we receive hateful PMs demanding action be taken, and everyone complains about how hateful the community is and how we should fix it.
What you need to realize is that we are simply a medium through which the pure world can communicate. We do not alter your behaviors or actions - though we try to limit the vulgarity seen. You guys complain about our curseword filter, but then complain when you're sworn at. Understand that every clan has contributed to the environment you see here, and its on your shoulders to change the community into something better.
It is not PureWarfare that is hateful and vulgar, it is the community that resides here. You could all jump ship and go to Pure Galaxy or whatever he calls it now, but after the initial ass-kissing subsides and promotions are no longer being given, the true light will shine.
I'm sorry that we as staff do not do enough by hosting this website (Karl), and moderating it constantly. We each handle dozens of PMs each day, and it's all on volunteered time. We're truly sorry that this is the way your community has evolved, but again - we are not the community: you are. We're just the world you live inside.
