+10 mage bonus is quite alot for a pure, if youre maging or have mage in invent always godcape. if no mage: fire cape.

hammer spec is kinda useless, lowers opponent stats. all he has to do is drink superrestore. rather spec trough opponents def with vls.

runescape pvp today isnt about pures anymore. stop living in the past. more def = more str bonus = more damage. pvp is about damage. it used to be all about pures because defence didnt add that str bonus back then. same for prayer, 31pray was all a pker needed. higher was just a waste of combat levels. now theres piety, turmoil which makes prayer worth it for pvpers even at 70 and 95pray. jagex is just releasing new combat boosts every now and then making 'being 1def 31pray' not the only option for a pvper. the only advantages of pures and pureclans today are faster battles and less losses on death :/ no having to get more rune defenders, torsos etc and no hours and hours of battle for 1 fight. takes about 15minutes at most for 2 pure clans to finish a fight.

like kruck said, if a clan dies it can ramble the entire ranking :P kind of like when TH died. alot of members joined Fi and Fi pulled even greaters numbers (mainly to f2p) stabilizing their f2p #1 rank. (was in the clanwars era) the question is: which clan is slumbering/dieing? and what clan would the majority of those members join if it happens?

as much as i dislike 13th trolling on these forums, he just won this topic. i think E will just decline the war because they cant use their mithril which is sad imo :x wouldve been a 100v100 turnout and defence wouldnt have played a role :(

low level clans are bound to fail. like 80% of their members only joined such a clan because they didnt have the reqs to join a med-high clan. people who stay in low level clans are either ranks, people who dont like to train their stats or just complete noobs who have no rs pk experience.

i dont see why those stupid mains rant about nomad. finally the questcape is 'worth' something again since 99% just go trough quests following a guide the entire time. 1st try: had a summon glitch, my pony wouldnt summon so i suicided instead of wasting stuff. 2nd try: range + pony. underestimated him :P pony didnt heal me enough. 3rd try: killed him. only used ruby bolts, sara brews, super restores, rocktails and 1 range pot. if you have tortoise or that bluebird instead bring just brews and restores, no rocktail/range pot. after quest you get 70zeal and a red or blue sw cape that gives +8def +12pray bonuses. it does not act as a accumulator like in the soulwars game :(

yeah but thing is people tend to cheat alot in runescape. its near impossible to get an even matched fight in pvp and be able to control it. especially if returning is on lol :P 99% that the clan with most members online will win the fight since noone is going to check and losing clan will most likely call winning clan cheaters. if you want even opts fights without ******** do it in clanwars.

i understand why pure clans dont want to fight rune clans :P but its the wildernis. what are they going to do about it? if they want rune-free fights they can always stay at CW

I've been wondering this for a while now. it's 2010 and theres still no pking clan that consists of both pures and rune/zerker pkers. why is this? i mean 90range is 90range, what does it change for a clan if the pker has 1, 20 or 40defence? I know pures like to rant about 40/45def pkers and that they call themselves 'pure' but face it, 20defence is just as 'main' compared to a 1def pker. nowadays its more about pking skills and stat boosting gear. in classic pking was pretty lame and easy since all you needed was high str and high attack, defence didnt matter at all. in the beginning of rs2 there werent as many str boosting items for defence so low defence could still reign the wilderniss. how come theres only 'pure', rune/zerker and mainclans today? i know theres pking teams that have them both but i dont know of any clans (except hf who had 1 (?) pure) that allow both. not only would pkers with 30/40def live longer in clan run-ins, they would also be able to help out higher lvl pures in lower lvl wild when needed. as for the combat matter, dont say they wont fit in because most top pure clans allow lvl70s as well as lvl100s. i'll take DP as an example (no offense intented). theyre having f2p trips but dont get to the top5 yet. imagine half of them getting 40defence. it would increase their runin results but they would 'have' to drop their title as 'pure clan' and change it into 'pking clan'. who cares tbh :P the bottom line is they beat the others, who cares about the stats? noone complains about clans with a higher or lower prayer average (1-52). ps: "because 40def is not pure" isnt a good arguement btw :P im not talking about just pureclans, but pking clans in general(not pk teams). whats everyone thoughts on this?
