Best Idea Ever. PureFest > RuneFest (ucwatidid)?

Just wanted to know everyone's opinion on this pure community atm. If you look at the "official" pure community, it's shown as the elites compared to massers. Everyone knows that if you join an official clan you have no risk of getting bsed and the communities are a lot better then in masser CC's. This is what i think allures people to join an official clan. One thing thats changed throughout the years is the way clans compete with each other and their goals. Back in 06 when i started clanning i was in the 40s clan called pinkies. What the clan focused on was mainly loot, there were fights here and there vs. DS, etc. But the main reason people warred was for the loots. in 07 when the wildy got removed, clans entered what i call the CLW era, where principles of tanking, hugging, etc were brought upon more. The fact is, while the wilderness has been brought back, we are still in the CLW era. The main thing im concerned about, is whats going to happen from here? While this is a great community, the total active members accumulate to give or take ~600 people. While this may be fine for most people, the pure community was a lot more active than this, idk what it was, but it just seemed bigger back in 07. The main thing is, is that the clans today all focus on fighting each other. while there are loot trips, the main action is clan V. clan. the problem with this is that it's hard to get more people into the pure community nowadays, meaning the ~600 active on will not fluctuate to very high, it's basically the same people just joining different clans with the occasional new face. What would happen if one weekend, clans fought mains, the advantages of being a pure would be shown. Banks would be full with rune, instead of monk robes. It's hard for me to see this from someone outside the pure world, why would you want to join something where all you see is people fighting each other, all in pure gear. What exactly are we fighting for, what exactly does #1 even mean? Just my opinion, post yours below.

doesn't really matter what clan you choose, seeing as how the outcome will be the same. If you like all p2p go to Havoc, tr, or cpr. if you like a mixture of both servers, every clan open can fulfill that need. Every reply to this topic will be a listing of their own clan, which is no help to anyone. intro here and there, find a community that fits you, and there you go.

if you convince a pw admin to make this an event, it could work. otherwise you'd only pull people from your clan and a few friends. i kind of like pures vs mains, reminds me of the old days.

getting p2p starting friday when school ends. If CP thinks they won today, so be it. it'll be their only "win" for quite some time. only thing i have puzzling, is if we were the ones hiding in single, why is it we had fights with more than one clan. where cp's topic has 2 fights, which are both from us? love crumps and pink tho <3

what's the point of fighting clans on friday if thats what we do on the weekend? the point of weekday trips is for members to get loot and enjoy themselves because of the fact that weekend trips are focused on clans.... OT: GJ CT

EoP ranks tank hard, but for 1 def i'd say Leen the leader of MA is a pretty damn good tank. when we were in the same clan we had a 20v20 overs off and he was the first pile, yet he survived the whole round. 1 def and rc robes :P

summer time is when clans reach their peak as Sopuli stated. Hoped CP enjoyed any kills they got and thanks to all CT for attending.

for p2p mini's, crossbow wont help much. chaotic rapier or maul for p2p mini's would be your best bet, get 82 dung and get stream+rigour if your against attack levels. although 80 attack pures can do good if you dont get above 90 cmb. but if you like the levels you pk at atm, then stream+rigour or stream+staff is your best option

Seriously man are you retired?... We walked right through FI vs TLP because CP were west and about to crash. So we swooped in and took CP out of the fight so that you guys could get a fight. Since you went through us from our point of view it looked like you crashed. I just looked over our video. You did go through us, but seconds later EOP crashed which we thought was you.
