After owning everyone in the Pure Main Mini War Scene we have decided these cunts over here need a slice of that goat pie. So we decided we are gonna all make some LPC pure's and own everyone cuz we go hard. The leaders of our Mini War Team are the same as the leaders of our LPC Team. Be ready to fear the goat. We are looking specifically for people who are interested but could not be ****** training a new pure and want a group of people to do it with. It is not baseless. I'll give you an example. Lets say under this scenario of dooms day, New prayer/spell/weapon/whatever that you can only get by doing a quest that gives 15k defense xp. At first probably everyone will say NO we aren't getting it. What will happen is a few people who are under their current defense requirements will get it instead of turmoil or what have it. So in these HPC's you will have people who are 30 defense Turmoil variations, and now a second type Lets say 30 Def with a new magic spell or whatever. (NO FLAME INTENDED) This is strictly an example: 1) Flash Cutter 622,011 36 25,118 2) Gf Nerd Jeff 615,058 36 25,493 3) Pink Clay 615,144 36 25,309 4) Memberlist 670,373 36 25,244 5) Blue Clay 615,173 36 25,227 Theres 5 people just randomly chose 2 ML's and took 5 people. Under this dooms day of 15k XP, if any of those guys did the questing involved they would be over 40 defense. Level 40 = 37,225 xp. This might not happen at first, but surely some of the higher defense levels of each of our communities would do it. The problem is once one clan accepts the first 40 defense in their community it spirals. All of the people who are now 30-33 defense, generally would still be considered a turmoil pure account in today's standards might then decide to go and do it. If they did it would put them at or around 36 defense. But arguably why stop at 36 if the competition can wear rune at 40? use a better defender, better and cheaper boots, a whole new spell book, the list goes on etc. The adapt or die argument is extremely relevant and realistic. For if it wasn't Turmoil would not be so prevalent. Again flame if you want. There isn't any bots for people to farm an account up real quick. It would be very hard for clan leaders to kick someone for trying to remain competitive.

Yeah I can see your side of it for sure. Again let me re-phrase this. This topic is strictly introducing a scenario and asking how the pure community would respond to it. Nothing more, nothing less. The main original point is some clans that are literally within 2-3 levels of being rune pures. This scenario happened with plenty of rune pures when turmoil first came out. Many people were old school 45 defense having accepted the MM def xp, and when Turmoil first came out they were forced to adapt and get 48+ defense. Now mirror the situation. Not everyone is perfect people mess up, so just like there are people with 35/36 in this community, there were people that were already 48-50 already in the rune pure community. Which is why you saw prominent vid makers such as Pandaa Eye or Wtf Elvemage being rune pure at 52 defense and 113+13 combat. ^ Thats basically the crux of my point. It was pretty obvious to anyone back then that anything over 50 defense was just wayyy to high to be a rune pure, and I THINK, again I could be wrong that really some people in this community are pushing the limit at what can be considered a 30 def turmoil pure. So my second point is seriously what is the point of a level 39 defense pure. How anyone could ask me to neck myself over that is beyond me. Either way thanks for posting.

Yeah like I said I am not trying to change your community. In fact given I had the time I would consider making a baby pure to check LPC's out. I would honestly like to see LPC's flourish into what is considered the dominant "pure" clans, and have the current HPC's be a bit more realistic and less hypocritical. BOTH of which should be allowed to post on this site, and share their communities with each other.

Logic always wins however. If you don't think 35 defence is pure, and your clan aka Fatality has 17 members with it, then you can't criticize someone for allowing 5 extra levels if you feel both account types do not meet the requirements of this community. EDIT I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT CLEAR. I HAVE NO BEEF WITH ANY PURE CLAN. Even if you think I am a complete idiot, I have 0 problems with anyone. This was merely to point out flawed logic.

But what happens when the dooms day scenario happens and major HPC clans all start allowing higher defence. Does Purewarfare then take the stance that the big dog clans of old can no longer post? If so why? Why not adapt to what the players of 2012 or whatever year it may be when or if this happens? Like I said the goal at the end of this should be to expand YOUR community, not close it off. Whether its MM vs FOE, or Fatality vs Wicked Fury (main clan they prepped) there is good argument to be made that WF should be able to post because a pure clan was involved in the fight. Again I'm not here to flame. A Purge of defence will either happen, or it wont.. but I don't think a purge is neccessary.

It's just the mods opinion on it, they allow aftermath topics for pure clans/teams, that was the reason for creating the site, purewarfare. I do agree with your defence beliefs though, although I don't play this game anymore, what I am liking is the opinion a lot of these LPC clans take on it, it seems they are pretty much isolating themselves from the mainstream "pure" clans we have today. It wouldn't surprise me if this year certain clans started accepting 40, and although when I played I was in Enemy and supported 1 defence, I will welcome it, heh, it wouldn't be considered pure anymore. Expect a lot of flame on this topic btw, kids willl be kids ;) The motto is "Home of the Defenceless" again I completely agree and recognize with anyone that today's definition of pure is skewed from what it should be, but by blocking an effort to have an open community, you close it off, rather then expand it. This whole LPC push is great. The time it takes to make an account ready to join an LPC clan is minimal and their community could benefit from interacting with ours. After all if what they are doing is truly fun, it would attract people from communities like the one we have created that have members with minimal pure clanning exposure. At the end of the day I agree with Mod's decision to not let HF boast because of Ranged/Maged Tanks. I also agree with any Mod's decision to not let a clan or team post because of something that they do that detracts from the community aka hacking etc, but a small group of friends trying to have fun and expand our community without detracting from it. I see no reason or logic here. Edit: Personally to enhance this community I think it would be prudent to have seperate clanning sections, similar to how there is currently separate recruiting sections. Clans/teams that are 30 defense + turmoil should post in their own warring sections, and LPC's have their own as well. That way we can foster growth in the LPC community and advance and adapt if neccessary in the HPC catagory without flame and bull.

Rather then ***** about what is pure, and what is not. How about not make topics with poll's about 30 def being pure or not. Instead of comparing your defense level averages as if it means something. Why don't you guys spend that time pming other clan leaders for preps? Idk if you have thought this one out, but the 30 defer's in this community are 1 step away from being Rune Pures. Why not just accept it? Think about it this way. Anyone who is 35 defence right now is about 15k defence xp off being a rune pure. So all it would take is 1 update from Jagex, with some quests similar to turmoil that changes the pking scene. I'll list the numbers for you: FOE - 30 people with 30 defense or higher. EOP - 48 People with 30 defense or higher. Fatality - 30 people with 30 defense or higher. NPO - 30 people with 30 defense or higher. TLP - Couldn't find their ML but im assuming its 20-30 people. Those are the names that came to mind, if I forgot your clan my bad. So assuming my estimate on TLP is correct, and basically only counting the "Pure clanning" members who have 30-35 defense pures your looking at 168 people that in this doom day scenario of Jagex releasing a future update that would give some sort of defense xp would either have to turn Rune Pure, or would be so close to being a rune pure 35-39 defense, that its absolutely silly to not just take the leap. To those that are hardcore about being 1 defence. I get it. Its not my thing but I respect you 100% for wanting to stay as close to the roots of being pure as possible. Honestly its pretty darn admirable because that account use to be over powered, and now a days its just not at a higher combat level. So either for aesthetic purposes, or the challenge your doing your thing and thats fine with me. My question to all of you is this however. Why flame? Why not be more welcoming? The way I see it, some of you guys know I lead a pure - rune pure team/group of friends. We have a nice little community, we enjoy doing our thing. We don't consider ourselves a pure clan or team, even though we do accept pures 1-30 def and our requirements are not restricting at all. You can be in any existing team or clan and still join. Yet when I went to post a topic of us smashing POT who granted by majority all of you guys dislike; it was locked, deleted, and closed in under a minute. By allowing it to be posted, viewed, and replied on I can share my community with yours, which if I am not mistaken should be the purpose of this site. Let the people who are LPC's do what they like and if your a HPC don't be a **** and expect them to fight, or flame bait. Why would they want to? They are doing their thing let em be. Honestly I would love to have a few people who are keen on permantly staying 1 defense, that don't care if we challenge a pure clan, or a RSC main clan to a fight or prep, but I find it hard to take this whole thing seriously if your going to be spending more time arguing about what other people should do, and not do. Regardless flame away, I saw the RSC Main Community go to **** because of petty ********. Clans hacking clans ML's, Clans hacking clan's forums, clans crashing constantly instead of fighting, p2p dieing out and clans going to f2p, clans outragging clans for a RSC win. You guys can go down that same path if you wish. But I'm going to just have fun with my friends and I welcome anyone else who wants to join me on that to idle in #goats and introduce yourselves.
